vodwatching rn and Bad just randomly went “in the arms of the angel~~ fly away from here~” and then said “isn’t that song just the most depressing song ever chat?” and so OBVIOUSLY I google the song to listen to it cuz why not, and OMG WHY IS IT SO SAD AND WHY DOES IT WORK WITH Q!BAD AND !BAD IN GENERAL SO PERFECTLY??? he did this on purpose I swear this is evil Qsmp foreshadowing.

I don’t have the time to do a lyric analyses rn but just a note that some of the lyrics include:

“memories seep from my veins, let me be empty and weightless and maybe I’ll find some peace tonight”

“You keep building on the lies you make up for all that you lack”

I love them and they have a lot of potential so this is just a list of stuff I feel like they’d do/be like in a relationship :P

-Language. Etoiles would pick up Bad’s habits of saying “fudge, muffin, etc” just because he knows Bad doesn’t like swears, but he still swears in French under his breath (much to Bad’s dismay) xD

-Braids. Etoiles would want to braid Bad’s hair for fun, but because he didn’t know how to braid hair, he’d go to Pomme (who learnt from Baghera) to teach him how to braid hair, and then he’d excitedly go to Bad and braid his hair :3 Bad would pretend to hate it at first but he secretly enjoys it :P

-Etoiles will go into fights confidently as long as he has a bunch of Golden apples and a decent enough weapon, while Bad on the other hand makes sure to be stacked with health pots, gapples, fully enchanted gear and making sure his stuff is at the top durability. Etoiles teases Bad about him always having to prepare for “10 hours” before fights with sharpening his sword, cleaning all of his gear and weapons, etc. Etoiles couldn’t care less if his gear was dirty, but Bad makes him clean it because “presentation is important”. (Killing people btw). Etoiles finds this moral/routine of Bad’s confusing at first because he knows for a fact that Bad could probably kill most enemies with his bare claws and a few gapples. He’s seen Bad tear people apart and knows he’s capable, but eventually he gets used to the strange ways of the demon.

-Bad is infatuated with what kind of species Etoiles is because in his years of living, he’s never seen anything like him. He openly talks about how/what Etoiles would taste like, and says that he’d probably taste good and maybe either like chicken or cucumber. I’d like to think that Bad eventually gets a lil nibble-

-Etoiles will take off his mask when he’s alone with Bad, and Bad will take down his hood. (Not always but they can when they’re just chillin and stuffs) This is important because for them, they both are pretty independent and reserved people, but they trust each other to show this small vulnerability.

-When Bad first learnt about Etoiles’ diabetes, he’s super paranoid for him, even if he knows that Etoiles obviously can handle himself. Bad does make sure to keep extra quick sweet treats on him at all times though, and was super insistent with checking up on Etoiles during fights/fight recovery times and asking abt his blood sugars n stuffs.

-Bad does a lot of baking (it’s therapeutic) (he was advised against cooking after his chicken noodle soup recipe-) and he gives them to Etoiles to taste test.

-Etoiles isn’t a 5 star chef, but he does know how to make a handful of French dishes and some cool pastries that he wanted Bad to try (and as a thank you for the baked goods) (also culture exchange!!) so he set a day aside just for cooking stuffs for bad as a surprise :P Bad was super happy and loved it, so he asked for the recipes to make some later. Etoiles gave it to him, and Lo and behold, a few weeks later, Bad made the same French dishes! Etoiles ate it and ngl Bad’s cooking was better than his, but Etoiles would never admit that to his face after making fun of Bad’s cooking (chicken noodle soup) and because of the fact that Bad’s cooking was better than his and it was just Bad’s first try xD

-Etoiles lovesss the cool voices and mimicking Bad can do, and he asks bad if he can do a specific voice, to which Bad sadly replies no cuz he doesn’t know the character/person. 2 days later though, Etoiles asks him to do the voices again and Bad just so happens to be able to do that one voice he wasn’t able to earlier. Etoiles finds this adorable because he knows Bad was probs practicing the voice a lot just for him :P

-Both of their fighting styles are very good, but they are very independent and meant for solo fighting. When Bad and Etoiles were put together though, they immediately clicked, and despite both usually doing better when fighting alone, they preform way better together. They quickly analyzed the other’s fighting style, slightly altered and adapted theirs, and became a very formidable duo on the battle field.

-They both equate fighting as a love language. Playful banter if you will :3 Etoiles will frequently ask for duels and Bad will playfully throw some jabs at Etoiles at any minor inconvenience. This also goes for their other relationships with certain people like Foolish, where both Bad and Etoiles will threaten to kill him constantly, and would at any open and authorized opportunity :P

-They tend to know what the other is thinking without saying words because 9 times out of 10, they’re thinking the same thing xD

-Both dislike accepting help but Bad is wayyy more stubborn with it than Etoiles is. Mostly because Etoiles knows there’s no winning an argument with Bad when it comes to his own safety lol.

-Their idea of a ‘date’ outside of slaying their enemies side by side, would probably just be nerding out about random stuff under the stars. They’re both nerds and Yappers, it’s perfect :3

-Bad loves listening to Etoiles’ voice, so while Etoiles’ is talking, he’d often times just zone out on what he’s saying and just listen his voice. Q!Bad did say that Etoiles’s voice was like butter to his ears :33
