YESS and omg angst all the way- I was gonna just leave this ask as is with mention to the two egg related animatics iv done in the past (linked here and here lmao) and not draw smthn for/with this but I remmembered that I had an TV girl animatic (kinda egg relevant?.. idk it’s self indulgent cuz I wanted TV girl lmao) that I was making like 3 months back so I’m using this as a perfect opportunity to finish/post this LMAO

Though fluff has its time and place.. I prefer angst >:)

🐗 some time had passed after the previous events. Harlequin's relationship with Jester is still a little strained but the two are speaking more at the very least.

Jester was in his chamber, curled up on bed. He didn't want to get out of bed this morning... Normally he's the first one to wake up in the morning but that wasn't the case this morning... It was noticed by his mate, who then came into the chamber with a tray that held two cups with their favorite coffee.

"Jester. Are you unwell? You weren't present in the kitchen before me." Ticket Taker said, setting the tray down on the nightstand and approached his mate, touching him on his shoulder.

Jester grumbled, curling up into a tighter ball. He growled softly, not wanting to get up. He was curled around the egg.

"Sir. Do not growl at me at this time of morning. You are being a brat."

Jester slowly pulled the covers from his head and sat up. He groaned softly. "I'm fine.. But Bil. Look." He uncovered the egg and reached over to the nightstand to put his mask on. The egg was cracked, moving as well.

Event! The hatchling 🥚✨🪞

The egg has hatched! How will the puppets react? This event is slightly different from the previous two. You will be designing the hatchling! Either their monster form or humanoid form. It's a sort of design contest! Note, art skill is not a factor here. I am judging on creativity and your understanding of the current lore of this blog as well the freak circus lore in general. I will assist in giving you tips for the hatchling. The rest is up to you! Interactions are still open for this event! Asks related to the event will have the 🥚 emoji! I hope you guys have fun!

Written descriptions are also welcome for this event. Winner will be chosen in about a week or two depending on amount of entries. Do not worry about not winning, the other designs will exist as possible future hatchlings!

Name: Hypnotist (Hypno for short)

Gender: you decide!

Ability: hypnosis through reflections (screens, mirrors, glass, phones, etc)

Monster form: combination of Jester and Ticket Taker (remember, Jester's monster form has a total of 8 eyes in those sockets. The hatchling doesn't need this unless you want them to have it)
