Life is like taking a walk on a beach,

Picking up sea shells.

Some fall off when my hand is full,

I always try to pick up the fallen shells too;

Because they are too pretty to leave behind.

I even pick some broken shells,

I glue them together

I never stop no matter day or night

Yes, I slow my pace when I am tired.

I will limp on one foot if the other is broken.

But I won't stop.

I tripped over and scattered all the shells.

It took me two years to pick them all up.

Yes, I lost some of the ugliest ones.

Yes. UGLY. I am thankful.

There were some pretty ones that I didn't care enough for

But I know that I pick the most beautiful one today.
