The more I explore my religious trauma and philosophy, the more I realize I’m an actual person, like a fully realized flesh and bone person—even if I didn’t always think so
Like my whole being isn’t just ‘autism’ or ‘adhd’ and no matter how hyperfixated I get on these topics I’m a person outside of this facet of my being. Like who I am isn’t just a disorder or a condition, and I can talk about myself without leaning on these labels. I don’t have to box myself in, I can use it however it fits me, and not use it however it fits me as well.
The right thing, will only ever be what’s good for me (in this very specific context).
I can talk about whatever I want to talk about without connecting it back to autism and ADHD, I can be a person outside of autism and ADHD. And as I transition into being an adult, being at ease with myself, formless and shapeless and just being is really important
