This steak rubbed in coffee and cocoa and served with peppercorn bourbon cream sauce is a real treat for the taste buds. The rich flavors of coffee and cocoa make the crust on the steak taste great, and the creamy and slightly spicy bourbon cream sauce goes perfectly with it. It's a rich dish that's great for a fancy dinner at home.
Ingredients: 2 beef steaks preferably ribeye or New York strip. 2 tablespoons ground coffee. 2 tablespoons cocoa powder. 1 tablespoon brown sugar. 1 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 tablespoon butter. 1/4 cup bourbon. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 1 tablespoon whole peppercorns. Salt to taste.
Instructions: In a small bowl, mix together ground coffee, cocoa powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the steaks, pressing it into the meat. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks to the skillet and cook to desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add bourbon and peppercorns, cook until slightly reduced, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Season sauce with salt to taste. Serve steaks topped with peppercorn bourbon cream sauce.

These gourmet doughnuts combine the flavors of sweet oranges and olive oil for a unique and delicious treat. They are perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup olive oil. 2 large eggs. 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice. Zest of 1 orange. 2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg. Oil for frying such as vegetable or canola oil. Powdered sugar, for dusting.
Instructions: Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk the eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, orange zest, and olive oil in a separate bowl. To form a dough, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. In a deep pan or fryer, heat the frying oil to 350F 180C. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/2 inch 1.25 cm on a lightly floured surface while the oil is heating. To cut out doughnut shapes, use a doughnut cutter or a round cutter with a smaller one for the center. The doughnuts should be cooked through and golden brown after about two to three minutes of frying each side, so proceed with caution when placing them in the hot oil. Using a slotted spoon, remove the doughnuts and drain them on paper towels to get rid of any extra oil. While the doughnuts are still warm, sprinkle them with powdered sugar. Enjoy the warm sweet orange and olive oil doughnuts!
