📚What will grow? By Jennifer Ward is a great nonfiction book to use when learning about plant life cycle. I absolutely love the color palette of the beautifully illustrated pages by Susie Ghahremani. The pages are a thick cardstock quality and have some great fold outs. Each page has a rhyming question asking the reader to figure out what plant is going to grow from the seed. In the back there is more info on each seed and a great illustration showing life cycle from seed to flower. 🌻Released Feb 2017. 📚I love the style and color tone of the illustrations; they are what originally made me grab the book. 💩Poo in the Zoo by Steve Smallman was a super cute and silly rhyming book. Young Bob McGrew is a keeper at the zoo, he does a lot of jobs there but one he does often is pick up animal poo! The iguana gets out one day and goes on an eating rampage including some fireflies. When he poops its glowing much to everyone's amazement and attracts a poo collector! He sells it to the collector to buy a robot pooper scooper! The illustrations by Ada Grey @adagreybright bright, colorful, and adorable.
