I went to Glen Shira last week - it's a special place for lichens. Every tree was clad in a bewildering array of colours and textures.
Leptogium brebissonii - a jelly lichen with turgid, translucent lobes; found on mossy trees in damp environments. Its colours remind me of cold, deep sea water on a cloudy day. <3
