Sometimes Joe feels alone. He's the only one who seems to realize that they're in a sort of simulation that acts like an early 2000s sitcom. Maybe it's because he was stuck between shows for what felt like years, losing himself and feeling like he was gone.

He remembers being found by The Watchers, others who are like him, who got lost and became something else. The longer you're there, the more monstrous you become. So he left after he realizes he was becoming a monster.

So he found his way to a show called Hermits That Craft, such a strange place. He found himself in a town called Hermitopia. He stayed on his own until he was taken in by a couple (Xisuma and Cleo). And he fell for them.

He gets the courage after a few months to admit that he loves them and is over the moon when the three of them start dating. Maybe he can forget his former life.

That is until he feels the presence of another Watcher.

X and Cleo not dating originally but all three become a polycule.

Anyways - at the end of his human life these two sit by his sides and comfort and hold each of his hands.

Because I hc X to be immortal/longer lifespan and well zombie/undead this hits them hard because he insisted on staying and living as human.

Eventually he tells them how happy he was to have both of them in his life before passing.
