Mumbo wants wings. He's jealous of the hermits with their pretty wings and he wants some too! Problem is... His method involves messing with code; the code is very cruel on people who don't know what they're doing. Mumbo doesn't know what he's doing.

When Xisuma was given the half-eligible messages from Mumbo, he didn't know what to expect; certainly not a mass of wings, all shapes and sides, flapping all over the place in stress and a very strained Mumbo trying to see through all the feathers and scales.

After calming him down, checking virals and coding there was news!

The Good News: He didn't mess up so badly that it couldn't be fixed, so he can go back to normal

The Bad News: because of how many, and all the types, of the extra appendages, it would take a good few weeks to clear them all properly. Possibly even a few months if the code is stubborn enough.

So his plan was a complete failure... At least he won't be alone during this process. Perhaps the both of them planning out blueprints for more mechanical-based wings will curb his flight desires?

At first, Mumbo tried to bargain that they removed wings until he could fly, then he'd keep whatevers left. A very tired look from Xisuma stopped that idea in its tracks.
