EL VIEJO MAGEC 🌀🐚☀️ Y SAN JUAN ⛪️ ✝️

Cuentan quienes guardan memoria de aquellos tiempos (👨‍🦳👩‍🦳👴) que por estas fechas, en verano, nuestros antiguos, los indígenas canarios, hacían sus celebraciones.

Cuando el sol dibujaba su órbita más alta en el cielo, para los nuestros, los antiguos, había llegado el momento de empezar a juntar las cabras con los machos (🐐🐐)... para garantizar la crianza... y había empezado el momento de hacer los preparativos para celebrar el beñesmer.

Por eso era importante saber cuándo llegaba el verano... que lo anunciaba el solsticio (🌅), el instante en el que el sol se detiene.

Cada año, durante el solsticio de verano, se reunían en este espacio, el de la foto, para hacer sus celebraciones y darle así fuerzas al sol, cuando Magec se disponía a descender para acercarse a la oscuridad del invierno (🌫).

Y por eso hoy se hacen hogueras (🔥)... por San Juan, cerca del solsticio de verano... al igual que las que hacían años atrás los cabreros en lo alto de las montañas... porque la memoria es eterna, a pesar del sincretismo.

Justo durante estos días, cuando el sol cae a la tarde y se cuela por el hueco que se ve en la silueta de la loma (ver la foto)... se ilumina la roca en la que los antiguos grabaron las espirales... (🌀) por eso eligieron estas rocas del barranco y no otras para dejar su huella... porque así sabían que Magec anunciaba la llegaba del verano... el comienzo de su año, cuando su luz encendía los grabados.

Hubo un tiempo en el que el cielo nos hablo... y supimos escuchar.
