Bootz breed for Petz 4!
My first actual modern hexed breed. I did use Carolyn's "Woof" as a base. Here is Bootz (from Dogz 1) for Petz 4!
Available here.
I did it. I finished the long border panel. I have started the last one. When that is done I will sew them to the quilt top and that will be done. Yay. While I stitched Hubs was making Belgium Slice the house smells amazing. He is going to make icing but I don't think it will be done for a taste test at afternoon tea.
I finally finished this quilt top, about a million hand sewn hexagons. Itβs about 40β x 40β and will become a quilt for Welcome Blanket, an organization that gives handmade blankets to immigrants to welcome them into the USA. I started it the day Trump got elected, but it took me this long because I had carpal tunnel syndrome and surgeries for it.
I wanted the colors to look like a bowl of jelly beans.
I spent some time sorting out the last few rows to be attached to the big blue star hexie quilt this afternoon. I have totally run out of fabric so this will be the final quilt top size. I did want to put the darker border all the way around but this thing is huge and I have no idea how I will quilt it so once these last rows are sewn and attached thats it. I have batting but the backing I bought is way too small now so I will have to either make the backing bigger by adding blocks to it or I will buy a new backing. I would prefer the latter if I am hand quilting. I quilt using a hoop and I anticipate it will take years to complete the quilting. I have a plan of attack for taking the papers out, I love that part. Lots more to do.

Meet Gen 3!
I really have to start making decisions about who to keep!
These are the gang:
A lot of clowns this time around, lol.
Meet Mr. Sassybritches and Sweetpea
I'm obsessed with Abnormality's "Rough Collie" hexie. Meet my first two adopts: Mr. Sassybritches and Sweetpea.
They enjoy dressing up. In true Collie fashion, the more ridiculous - the better. Pun intended.
OH gosh, the PetzA plugin will let you take everyone out at once! Sheer Chaos!!!
Ok, I age-reduced her pupz, but I'm still taking them all out together. Organic gameplay is probably best for these guys.
An interesting note: two of these (10!!!) pupz have no brown on their snouts. Abnormality noted that it may not be possible for these breeds to have no tan on their face. Granted, these are Gen 2 dogz, not Gen 1. But they are purebred Abno Collies.
