Finished pinning my progress flag pillowcase! Super happy with the way the fabrics and pattern turned out.
I am quite proud of this stitching line.
I wish they all looked this nice, but in the end they won't even be seen. I will just enjoy the pretty ones while I can.
Five months of work so far on my EPP rainbow star quilt; just finished the top face. Not sure how I’m going to quilt it yet…
Thanks for looking! :)
I finally picked a project for my first English paper piecing panels (a small clasp purse) which means I can remove the paper templates, press, and go through the harrowing step of cutting out the pattern pieces.
Fabric is from vintage flour/feed sacks from around the 1930/40s, when upcycling was a necessity.

Making good progress on my EPP! I guess I’ll have to decide on how to bind this baby at some point soon. Do you guys have any recommendations on how to finish this quilt in a traditional way? I’m not sure about using bias binding.
I am working on my English paper piecing quilt some more today. Attaching the 4th ring of hexagon flowers and making hex flowers in purple for the 5th ring.
Having some anxiety over it and fears that my hand-sewing is basically at kindergarten level, and it's awful, and since I'm not producing amazing art quilts or stuff that belongs in the quilt museum, that my work is pointless.
I have made a few more block. I plan on making the lattice/borders and then sewing the blocks in once they are done and I have created a configuration I like.
