Finished pinning my progress flag pillowcase! Super happy with the way the fabrics and pattern turned out.
The top of my quilt is done!
I am quite proud of this stitching line.
I wish they all looked this nice, but in the end they won't even be seen. I will just enjoy the pretty ones while I can.
Five months of work so far on my EPP rainbow star quilt; just finished the top face. Not sure how I’m going to quilt it yet…

linen EPP centerpiece for my aunt's kitchen table!
The main part of the quilt top is now quilted. My hand quilting has improved as I have worked on this. There is still room for improvement which is great because I will be moving on to the big blue star hexie quilt. But first I have to figure out how to quilt the borders on this one.
I finally picked a project for my first English paper piecing panels (a small clasp purse) which means I can remove the paper templates, press, and go through the harrowing step of cutting out the pattern pieces.
Fabric is from vintage flour/feed sacks from around the 1930/40s, when upcycling was a necessity.
