Meet Piper!

I brexed her yesterday to look like my real dog, Piper, who passed in 2024.

On July 24, 2010, I entered the condemned home of an animal hoarder, all save 3 animals already removed by animal welfare and law enforcement, and left with Piper in my arms. She was emaciated, flea-bitten, parasite-ridden, and half bald, but my heart knew her immediately. When she ran to me, I knew that she knew me, too, and I refused to leave without her.

With proper care, Piper blossomed, and she quickly became part of our family. I loved everything about this strange little dog. She was my ESA and got me through some dark times. I miss her immensely.

Of course, PF.Magic Piper needed a bow first thing.

Pixel Piper is an exceptional mouser. Just like the real Piper, she shows a real affinity for the little guys. (No mice were harmed in the production of this blog.)

Piper is overstimulated by everything, just like her real-life counterpart.

I even mapped her personality!

PF.Magic Piper is the realization of a long-standing goal of mine. I'm a sentimental person, and she means a lot to me.

This litter is nearly a year in the making out of my first FBD Shelties since returning to the PC and my first naturally raised dogz - Marcy and Nolan. Born in March 2025, these two began their show careers on Dukes Group where they quickly earned their Junior Champion titles! They also began competing in frisbee and they absolutely excelled! Upon reaching adulthood, they briefly showed in PSC Conformation while we were testing and Nolan won Best in Show! Once standards were enforced, Nolan and Marcy moved to pose shows. They earned their SGCh titles in June 2025 at Petz Show Club. Shortly thereafter, they earned their Champion Petz Citizen titles at PSC. Marcy and Nolan continued to be my favorite petz, and I knew they hadn’t quite reached their full potential. In November 2025, I decided to get them back in the ring. They quickly earned their World Champion pose show titles and continued excelling in the sport world - earning their agility, mousing, and trick dog titles! Both dogs still actively compete for their PJWHF titles in their “retirement” as a way to continue to bond with them.

Pups will be naturally raised until approximately age 33 and updates will be posted here in this thread! I'll be raising them with “petzy culture”, exposing them to a variety of animals, objects, and experiences. This extra time with them will allow me to properly evaluate them and begin their training alongside my experienced crew. I will be randomizing the number of pups and their appearances. I will also be randomizing a couple personality traits for extra pizazz. An application does not guarantee a puppy due to litter size and existing waiting list, but I will be breeding this pair again soon if there is enough interest.

Falcon was cautious, but trusting - though the nail trim really caught him by surprise lol

Today we are working on training! Primary focus is recall, retrieve, posing, and a down stay.

I learned today that Falcon is very food motivated! Could not get him to retrieve for anything until I brought out the treats lol. He's a fast learner when treats are involved. He is super friendly and loves trailing the curser around. His time for posing is about average. Not great, but not terrible. He'd prefer to do handstands.

Around February 2025, Vanilla@Royalty Shetland Sheepdogs asked if I wanted a Butterfly x Scribble puppy-- which, for those of you who don't know, this is kind of a big freaking deal. You should visit the website I linked to see how much work they've put into their Shelties.

These oldies both turned 15 this past June!! Dahlia asked for a litter to be bred between these two, and since no one currently active has any Butterfly x Scribble puppies…. we have a new litter!!

Every one of my shelties is bred/hexed with love, including your baby! They have unique traits like hand added paint ballz that I will never hex again, so they'll allways be 100% uniquely from me! <3

The following is from Vanilla's notes on each puppy:

Puppy 1(f)

Bravery - Wasted absolutely no time jumping on the pumpkin, as soon as she noticed it, she pounced! She also readily brought it to my hand with no prompting.

Hoop - Her first instinct was to jump over to my hand to see what was going on, but once I moved the hoop away again she immediately jumped over to it and jumped through!

Autoball catch - It took her a 4 tries to catch it the first time, but after that she caught it on her first try 2 times before deciding it was a bit boring to just keep playing fetch lol, so she ran all over the screen and batted at the ball instead 😂

Trainability - She immediately offered a somersault!

Frisbee - After sniffing, jumped almost immediately but missed the first try. Was very willing to try again pretty quickly though(not immediately, but close to it) and caught it on her second try!

Posing - Took about 1 minute to get a pose, and due to me having pet her it did start as an overpose, however she threw dali, dane(though the head may have been turned a little far away from the camera, not fully sure since it's not perfectly aligned haha), and 3/4 heads all for a solid amount of time. You could totally have gotten 1 pose of each type out of that single pose if it wasn't an overpose!

Overall thoughts - She's definitely a smartie pants, but can get bored if things are too repetitive. She feels like a bit of a thinker to me, not crazy energetic but does love any opportunity to play or work. She picks up on everything SUPER quickly, I think she'd do well with anything you throw at her! Definitely will also make her handlers life easy, so may be a great fit for someone new to the breed, but also a nice easy dog for someone experienced!

My Application for the Puppy

I'm thinking about claiming Puppy 1 because she sounds so serious and I like that vibe? I read these all while sitting on the couch listening to Youtube videos about arcade cabinets so I might call her Princess Daphne from the game Dragon's Lair

And so Etheria became her name because Daphne was so totally stolen from me 😒😒

I'm very excited to announce that Little Onyx, sister of Amber, has found her home! She was adopted by @stuntpetz after waiting since December 2025. She will probably be renamed to another (semi-) precious stone to match the litter theme. These were the last photos I took of her while we were playing in the garden.
