Thor Plays Petz

Hi, I'm Thor and this is my Petz Blog, where I write stories about my petz! My current goal with this blog was inspired by some blogs I saw in the Sims community.

For this legacy challenge, I am going to raise petz that have puppies/kittens and then raise those puppies/kittens and keep the cycle going and see how many generations I can get to.

I don't have specific breeding pairs or goals in mind when I choose petz to raise: I just let them find love naturally and see what happens. If a pet never finds love, then that's okay. I just grab new petz from community members, adoptions I find on websites and the like. I don't try to look for specific generations or show titles, etc. There are certain petz that are outside of this challenge that are used as proper stud/dams and are spayed/neutered during the challenge play.

I play on Petz version 4. While I'm not anti-using-the-PetzA mod, I don't use PetzA while raising my petz to see their age, weight, other values, etc. or change these values. I use the newest PetzA mod to let me take photos with transparency on.

My goodness. This kitten is very cute. Yes, I know Yuki is a boy and he's wearing a bow. He runs and trips all the time.

His mom, Eira, also dropped him every single time she went to pick him up:

Eira was an odd mother to Yuki. She never fed, and was shocked to watch him eat on his own:

"Oh, you're hungry?"

So they had a weird relationship, but who doesn't with their parents?

Poptart wasn't a terribly affectionate mother, and it felt like she mostly ignored her child so let's see how they feel now that Meep is a proper kitten.

The first thing Meep did was flip off his mother:

She was quite happy when I put Meep away 😭

Chug

Chug mostly just ignored his son.

And Meep ignored his dad.

Until they bumped into each other.

Then Chug had some words.

She's been in my game since I got her April 20, 2025 (ehehehe) and has been appearing in random petz blog stories, but I realized I never introduced her properly.

I did some raising with her in my game:

She was bred by starfrost who wanted to breed JRT+Poodles-- so she bred her favorite poodle, Bruno, with a 1st-gen JRT and made a litter of them to offer on Petz Auto-Adoption Club.

She didn't come with her name, so I named her Eleanor after the book I was reading "Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine" (a great read, recommended to me by @shortbread-kc).

I did make an initial post about her that you can see here. You can see she was originally brown so I gave her a makeover, and showname reflects this (which also fit with the books theme):

So let's talk about Bruno. Bruno is Eleanor's dad:

She hasn't fed her son yet... and I noticed something while I was in the kitchen feeding my catz.....

Meep is quite a little cutie. I forgot how adorable the baby stage is.

His mom seems strict.

Daddy Chug spent some time with his family too don't worry:

He doesn't know quite what to think of his child.

They know they want to focus on love instead of kids 😂

Okay, so I know I don't have any photos of Chug and Eira interacting, and so the only proof I have of their relationship is this red line (which means bad) in this old screenshot of the giant relationship diagram I made for my petz:

But one day, suddenly after Poptart gave birth,

Chug and Eira weren't angry at each other anymore???

In fact, Chug started trying to gift a now pregnant Eira this green shoe while she was trying to flirt with husband:

Nudges the shoe closer.

He started following her around and giving her gifts

Buddy,,,, you have a wife and kids!

Op-- I think Daru noticed.

In a previous post, I mentioned that Daru's parents: Eustace and Gate were returned to their original owner Emil @ Skyline.

So, I decided before they go, they should see their son, Daru, one last time. And Eira should meet the in-laws. Eira's baby wasn't ready to be born yet, so they didn't get to meet their grandkid but that's okay.

I love how Daru inherited his dad's goofiness. Eira is concerned. Gate is always been concerned about her son... 🥺

And same with Daru and his dad. They are funny dudes. In fact, they both fall asleep when you carry them 🥺

The hangout went really well. Daru and Eira were flirty around the parents haha

Actually both couples joined in the flirting 🤣

Now both Gate and Eustace are gone. But Daru and Eira still have each other and their unborn kitten.

I like how his parents were more into making baby #2 than they were of paying attention to their son:

Ah yes, two adult couples and everyone ignores the baby.

Jenna met the puppies: Amber and Onyx to see how they would all get along in our family. Gremlin was here too.

It started off pretty nice.

Gremlin's face 😭😂 and Amber is such a derp 🤣

But then it turned into anger that Jenna rolled her eyes at 🤣

Jenna chose to "pretend" to not notice the fighting.

Yup. That flower is really cool.

Jenna is patient, kind, and cool as a cucumber. Her border collie instincts turned on too 😂 Here she is herding an angry Amber.
