Got 2 small tattoos today and they mean so much to me. The one on the front of my hand is a symbol for sexual assault survivors, I dealt with this pain for so long and I still am 11 years later but this tattoo reminds me that I am not a victim I am a survivor. Not everyone survives the nightmares and the pain and self hatred and fear that comes after this abuse and I am still fighting to be here, to anyone struggling with this I am a sage space. I will help you. I will do everything I can to remind you that you did nothing to deserve this abuse and that you will heal. The one on the side of my finger is a reminder that my ptsd and anxiety, even though they consume me sometimes, are not stronger than me.

If you need emergency food contact your local food bank , the Trussell Trust accounts for a majority of food banks in the U.K. , you can find your local one on the website ,please don’t be ashamed if you need help , there is no shame in needing help , we all need help from time to time with all sorts of things in life it just happens that you need help with food this time , just ask . If you are in a privileged enough position to be able to help , you can either go to your local supermarket and donate individual items (check your local food bank website to see what they are in need of) or you can go direct to the website and donate cash. It is a difficult time people panic buying generally the smart price / budget version of a food so those that are already struggling week to week have to buy next price range up or shop elsewhere they can’t afford to stockpile and pay more out than they can afford and pushed further into poverty . On their resources page they also have the suicide hotline numbers for 80 countries worldwide. The goal is to eventually have them all so that everyone can get the help that they need. This demonstrates the international effort to combat mental illness and the stigma surrounding it. The numbers for the mental health helplines of some of the countries with the most prominent mental health crisis (ex. USA, India, etc.) are also included.
