Day 23 of #inktober2018 "The Conflict" We are getting there peeps, we are getting there... I'm struggling somewhat at the moment, as this month was really exhausting, almost too much so, and I kind of need a break now, but I need to finish inktober first. This piece to me reflects inner conflict, and my tendencies to constantly feel like I'm tugging between several parts of myself that belong to the adult and the child, and want different things that don't always coincide harmoniously. I'm aware of my inner turmoil most of the time, and I try to decrypt and come to terms with what I know of it, and what I know of its origins, but I'm sure a big part of what makes me tick is subconscious and relates to things I haven't uncovered in myself yet. Part of my life goal is to slowly decipher my inner self. I don't expect to ever reach a final stage, I don't believe that really exists, but I'd like part of my life's work, the private part, to be as much of an achievement as anything I might do in my art, for example. Mmm storms, that’s is all I can think about. This photo was taken at my sense aweness of ripples in clouds and God’s beauty in nature. But watching movie called #Impossible about hurricanes, and hearing fear of others leaves me no words, just praying.🙏 On #Twitter their video going around of people praising God, I am so in awe in spite of everything that can happen, when storms, waves may come, they lift their hands in air praising God. I can’t help but think of Job when he said “The Lord, gave and the Lord taken away, Blessed be name of Lord” Job 1:21b what testimony of faith. #Florida #World we see you praising God, and you moving me to seek him all the more, the storms, waves will crush my breath may fade away but the Lord will stand forever.
