cute friendships between all the houses really(but gryffindors x huffepuffs would be SO cute)

All in all we don’t have a settled endgame and since everyone is interacting with everyone ANYTHING can happen. {who knows I’m a muse whore, we can have professors and students in the same mumu and everything will go nuts with playing 8 characters each..AGAIN it’s too much i know}

HISTORICAL PLOTS

A plot exploring the life of an official mistress of the prince/king. The prince/king could be married or not married, and we could explore their relationship and the relationships between other members of the court. 

After the Napoleonic Wars, the sullen and mysterious Muse A returns home and sends London society into an uproar. Cool and aloof towards everyone around him, rumors abound, attesting praise to his heroic deeds during the war and speculation about the untimely death of his first wife. But to everyone’s surprise, he takes an interest in the kind yet shy Muse B, and begins the most scandalous affair to grace London in years. 

I’d be fine with playing either muse, and there’s lots of places we could go from this little blurb. 

Eras/time periods I’d be interested in: Ancient Greece, anything 14th-19th century (which includes the Renaissance, the War of the Roses, Tudor era, French Revolution, Georgian era, Victorian era, World War II ... and everything that happens in between those). 

Do you want a historical plot? Cool. So do I. Let’s do one together. 

Note: You don’t have to be an expert on historical trends, norms, and culture. But if we can at least try to be aware of general specifics regarding a time period, that’d be great. 

HARRY POTTER

I like Death Eaters from the Marauders era and am up for almost anything AU.

Maybe something Next-Gen? I want to have something where we incorporate modern technology in with all this wand-waving magic life.

Characters I’d like to play: Marlene McKinnon, Caradoc Dearborn, Dorcas Meadowes, Lily Evans, Evan Rosier, Emmeline Vance, James Sirius Potter, Rose Weasley, Scorpius Malfoy, or a semi-original character in the Next-Gen verse based on a child of someone from the series.

Can I please have a Cinderella plot? But maybe gender-reversal? Or perhaps ‘Cinderella’ is the child of a spy for a rebel sect or another country, and goes to the ball to gain information about the royal family. Instead, they fall in love for the prince/princess. Whoops. 

I LOVE doing twisted/fractured fairytales, as well as just regular retelling plots. 

I like time travel plots. That honestly would be super fun.

I’ve seen a few stories with a “greater good Dumbledore” where he’s gotten Ron and Hermione to fake friendship with Harry (Molly Weasley usually gets wrapped up in it somehow too), and tries but fails to convince Harry that he needs to die for the Greater Good; and those stories work but what if it was flipped?

Imagine that a few years after leaving Harry with the Dursley’s Dumbledore decides that this can be done better and moves Harry to live with someone fanatically devoted to Dumbledore who raises Harry as a wizard but doesn’t teach him of his family heritage (aside from the basic parents sacrificed themselves fighting Voldemort) and basically raises him to believe that he isn’t particularly good at anything and that when the time is right he has to die. Then this Harry goes to Hogwarts and meets Ron and Hermione who know absolutely nothing of this.

And Harry hasn’t had friends before and it’s fun but he tries not to get to close to them because he’s worried about hurting them when he dies (and he’s always assumed that everyone knew dying was his job), but he can’t help growing closer to them. And Dumbledore cautions him against too much attachment but never bothers to stop this.

Hermione and Ron realize fairly quickly that Harry has practically no self worth and do their best to convince him that he does have skills that he is worthwhile, each in their own ways, and they guess he has a bad home life but none of them know what it actually is. And this goes on until third year. When Sirius catches up with them and explains everything and Harry is shocked by the knowledge that someone is so desperate to make sure that Harry is safe and happy and that he lives a happy life (because Sirius keeps talking about his responsibility to Harry as his godfather). And sometimes after that, maybe over the summer maybe just before the end of the year, it all comes spilling out.

Sirius, Hermione, Ron, and the rest of the Weasley’s are livid.

Plot 160: Sorted (submitted by Emmeline)

Muse A always knew they would end up in Slytherin. They came from a proud family, a long line that had been sorted into the same house for centuries, save for a cousin that no one talked about. When the day came to get on the train, Muse A found a compartment that held only Muse B. The two talked, shared their excitement, and bonded over what houses they wanted to be sorted to. By the time they reached the school, Muse A had Muse B convinced that they should be in Slytherin too, but the hat decided otherwise. While Muse A ended up in Slytherin, Muse B was most excited to learn everything they could, and was placed in Ravenclaw. Muse A, too proud to admit they were saddened by the sorting hat’s decision, simply turned to their housemates and began to chatter about all the food. They never saw the disappointed look on Muse B’s face.
