Hello! Welcome! This is my attempt at keeping the AU's boiuncing around in my head in order. They should be mostly in chronological order.

𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘂 (𝘃𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘀)

promised at turning – person a and person b were promised to each other the night one of them became a vampire, to unite their clans.

to end a blood feud – two ancient vampire houses have been at war for centuries; the only way to stop the bloodshed is a binding marriage.

blood purity law – every vampire noble must marry a mortal chosen by the high council to keep the blood fresh.

𝗺𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 / 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿

foretold by an oracle – a vampire seer’s prophecy declared that two fated ones must wed to avert a coming plague.

the prophecy said so – person a and person b don’t even like each other, but apparently the gods of night said “get hitched” or face eternal ruin.

hades & persephone au – person a, a vampire lord of the underworld, abducts/makes a bargain with person b, a mortal or rival vampire, to become their eternal bride/groom.

𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝘂 (𝘃𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆)

scandal avoidance – person a is seen feeding from person b in public; the only way to save reputations is marriage.

estate & bloodlines – person a inherits person b’s sire’s vast estate, and the only way to keep person b’s coven secure is for them to marry person a.

compromised – one accidentally turned the other without consent—marriage is the only political solution.

𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘂

blood order bride – person a arrives via train, a “mail-order spouse” for a vampire rancher (person b) to keep their lonely homestead respectable… and stocked with blood.

debt & decency – person a needs gold to pay off mortal debts; person b needs a spouse to keep up appearances in the local vampire council. also, bats instead of horses.

sent out west – person a’s vampire clan sends them to marry person b, the only sheriff in town… who also controls the town’s blood supply.

𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄

binding blood pact – a vampire council law decrees certain clans must intermarry to preserve power. the pairing is chosen for them.

𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘂

uniting houses – two vampire dynasties unite through marriage to control all feeding rights in the region.

chosen by the sire – person a’s ancient sire picked their mate centuries ago, and now it’s time to follow through.

to end a feud – mortal villages are caught in the crossfire of vampire feuds—marriage is the truce.

𝘃𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘂

traded for passage – person a is traded to a clan of vampiric vikings for safe passage and is married to the jarl’s eldest child, person b.

𝗳𝗮𝗲 𝗮𝘂 (𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁)

promised to the vampire king – person a’s parents made a deal with the immortal night court; now person a must marry the vampire ruler (person b).

blood feast trick – person a tricks person b into drinking from them under moonlight, sealing the marriage bond.

- Trying to keep it mainly sillies with a handful of sads

- No astrophage we keeping it light. the stakes are more interpersonal and not end of the world but damn when someone becomes your world it can feel like it is ending you feel me

Soldier, Poet, Kindred Spirit

- Merged PHM and Iron Lung universes (No Quiet Rapture, Astrophage is present)

- Religious trauma, grief, and the nonlinear recovery process from a lot of bad shit. a little exploration of building individual identity after being separated from constant cult control. gradual loss of religious faith and ponderings on it. codependency struggles and what not

- lots of simon repeating thoughts other people put in his head and then trying to find what thoughts are his own and grappling with the bad the good and the ugly ones w/ grace

Deification AU “The Eye and the Beholder”

- Simon goes through the hell of iron lung and while merging with the blood ocean he ends up in contact with the Eye and becomes something he does not understand

- He sees too much until he forces himself through sheer spite to go “fuck you I’m me. you don’t get to make me something else” and struggles to keep himself Normal bc he’s an eldritch being now and he focuses his Eye on a new universe (PHM) and is something of a horrifying space entity, but he does his best to make sure Grace knows he means no harm Be Not Afraid style

- grace has to deal with being a God’s Favorite

- Grace studies a variety of things. He doesn’t always look for cures, but in some cases he’s on the team for it. Generally always working under Eva

Werewolf AU “Werewolf Gimmick”

- not the kind where “I can still tell you are in there somewhere” but more like “you need to fucking run” type. Either starts with Simon fully trapped in a wolfish form and Grace helps him recover somewhat bc though he is “cured” it is still something that has fundamentally changed him.

- maybe both of them if Grace is racing against time after also getting bitten or something.

- Likely also something of a fighting ring AU where Simon “The Butcher” Edenov is set against humans
