But when @scootsie11 and @lost_in_marinades brought these to our family's annual Christmas Eve gathering a few years ago, I wasn't so sure how these elements would work together.⠀ ⠀ Would the bacon be mushy? Would it be overly salty and greasy? Would the brown sugar overpower everything with sweetness? Well, my friends, I'm happy to report that my concerns were unfounded 🙌. These Bacon Brown Sugar Cocktail Wienies ended up being the hit of the evening, we were all literally fighting for seconds and thirds! 😋 ⠀ Now, years later, these are a go-to when we need a simple and savory appetizer that's sure to please. Do yourself and your friends a favor and make these right meow 😻! ⠀ ⠀ Here's the recipe:⠀ ⠀ Ingredients:⠀ ⠀ 1 14 oz. pkg. of cocktail wienies⠀ Half of a pkg. of bacon⠀ 1 cup of brown sugar⠀ ⠀ Instructions:⠀ ⠀ Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.⠀ ⠀ Cut your bacon into quarters.⠀ ⠀ Wrap each wienie with a quarter of a piece of bacon and secure with a tooth pick.⠀ ⠀ Bake for 50 minute to 1 hour, turning once half way through.
