Ground beef, black beans, and Mexican spices are used to make this hearty and tasty chili.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, diced. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 bell pepper, diced. 2 cans 15 oz each black beans, drained and rinsed. 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes. 1 cup beef broth. 2 tablespoons chili powder. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Instructions: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add ground beef to the pot and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Stir in chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes. Add black beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth to the pot. Stir to combine. Bring the chili to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and let it cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, diced avocado, or chopped cilantro.
