Here’s something I have to say. Powerscalers tend to argue about who would win between Superboy-Prime and Gwen Poole, some thinking Prime stomps, some thinking Gwen stomps, and others thinking it would be an equal fight.
And sometimes these debates come down to ‘well Prime has actually killed trillions and Gwen just could do so, so who’s to say she actually can at all?’
And I always found that argument to be ridiculous because like the Second Death Star was never used to destroy a planet, but like of course it could destroy one. And Homelander was always talking about going scorched Earth in ‘The Boys’ but never did so, but that wasn’t because he couldn’t: the tension came from that we knew he could, and he probably would have a little if they didn’t decide that they wanted spin-offs.
I haven't read Superboy-Prime's comics, but I agree with you that that argument people give is definitely very flawed.
A big part of Gwenpool's character arc is learning to treat those around her as real, which includes not killing them (unless it's necessary). Of course her body count is going to be smaller when her first run has a very huge plot point about her accidentally leading to someone's death and trying to not let history repeat itself.
Ok so, Christopher Hastings said that Gwen was originally supposed to have brown hair whiiiich made me think of this
Gwen with Neapolitan hair, best of both worlds
