Fastest Waffle House In the South! . Spend a bunch of time on the road and sooner or later you’ll eat at Waffle House. I do all the time when in a city. . While most chain b’fast places use eggs in a carton, WH uses fresh eggs, and is the only chain I know of that does poached eggs right. I had cheesy eggs with onion today, but often get poached. Cheesy grits, too. . And tomato juice, why don’t many places have tomorrow juice anymore, hmm? Waffle House does. . Waffle House also has the best pork chops and chicken breasts. Really. Apple Butter, Raisin Toast, real grits, best bacon, real butter. Lots of reasons to love me some Waffle House. . Great food, great price, always smiling servers and cooks, and an overall consistency one can depend on from one Waffle House to another. . Waffle House has an interesting history and an even more interesting system of cooks identifying what a customer ordered by placing condiment packets and creamers etc in strategic positions around the plate.
