This juicy and flavorful Huli Huli Chicken recipe will take you to Hawaii. The marinade gives the chicken the perfect mix of sweet and savory flavors, which makes it a great dish for any event.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/3 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup chicken broth. 1/4 cup pineapple juice. 1/4 cup rice vinegar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp ginger, minced. 1/2 tsp sesame oil. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
Instructions: Mix soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, chicken broth, pineapple juice, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl. Be sure to mix the ingredients well. Put chicken breasts in a plastic bag that can be closed again and again, and pour the marinade over them. Put the bag in the fridge for at least two hours or overnight. Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. Take the chicken out of the marinade and set the marinade aside. Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until it's fully cooked. Baste it every so often with the marinade you saved. When the chicken is done, take it off the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Enjoy while it's hot with your favorite sides.
