1988's Iron Man Vol.1 #232 cover by Barry Windsor-Smith & Bob Layton.
THIS ISSUE!! The dialogue! The character interactions! Wolverine’s general mood! This arc is going to be phenomenal, with the start we’ve gotten in these first issues.
Wolverine and Pixie joined the story line seamlessly and their interactions with the main characters felt so natural. I particularly liked how Pixie interacted with each of them—especially Nico. Rainbow Rowell writes the characters so well. Every word on the page is spot on.
Andres Genolet puts so much emotion into his renditions of the characters—Molly, Chase, Nico—their facial expressions are so well delineated.
Kris Anka’s cover, as always, gives us a glorious moment in the narrative, this time a Molly/Wolverine face-off that’s so on point.
I really enjoyed this issue.
Just somethings I enjoyed from Impulse #22
Okay, three things here. One, Bart liked Steven Universe before it was cool.
Two, Max has a coffe mug that says Max and I don’t know why I love that.
Three, Max has his email under the name “Zen Speedster”
Bart’s bedhead. That is all.
Literally any instance of Jesse being a lot taller than Bart.
This. Just…this scene was ridiculous.
Again, just this.
Forget Cybertron drama, I want to see where their spacefaring adventure goes. Can’t wait for Galaxies.
