It's really weird to me how many Christian mannerisms I have in my speech despite being raised an atheist and shifting into Buddhism without any Christianity at all. Like I'm just constantly saying things to my coworkers like "Lord have Mercy, for I am a wretched sinner, yet I yearn to cleanse myself of sin."
I have never seen Weekend at Bernie's, but I'm glad it exists. It's great shorthand for a very specific yet surprisingly common type of scheme/accusation.
