Itās funny to look at the paintings of expressionistic artists from the 20. Century, because even though I know they have an agenda it feels like youāre witnessing them going gradually insane.
Like look at these by Wassily Kandinsky:
[Murnau, A Village Street from 1908] This painting I can totally get behind, itās nice, aesthetically pleasing, you immediately get whatās depicted. Nice and neat, nothing shocking for this era.
[Improvisation 26 (Rowing) from 1912] Then thereās this. Maybe youāre wondering whatās going on there, maybe youāre trying to guess some objects. Whatever you guessed, youāre wrong. Look at the title again. Yeah. I guess you kinda see it now. Rowing.
[Continuous Line from 1923]
[Yellow-Red-Blue from 1925] But what are these? What happened? Where did those nice little landscapes go? How come you have lost all sense of objects and reality? Please donāt take this too seriously, Iām not trying to make fun of any artists and I get that they had reasons for what they did and created a path for future artists, even though Iām rather a fan of more traditional movements. I do enjoy learning about them and just wanted to share this amusing thought.
Yk how kids learn through play? I don't think it's a kid thing really. Imo everyone learns through play and having fun. If a school lesson or training thing or whatever is *fun* people engage with it and retain information way better from my experience. Have y'all seen any research on this or anything?
Fun Grammar Lesson:Ā Nonetheless vs Nevertheless
Ever wonder the difference betweenĀ Nonetheless vs Nevertheless, if youād like to read more Iāve linked below where i got this direct quote but i think the simple and fun, modern lesson below it will help you be able to easily apply it to real world, nevertheless you may not forget it now. <3
- Nevertheless: means in spite of that. - Nonetheless: means in contrast to. - Nonetheless is used to indicate something that can be measurably quantified, while nevertheless is used in reference to a situation that either has, is or might occur -Ā https://askanydifference.com/difference-between-nonetheless-and-nevertheless/Ā Ā -Ā https://grammarist.com/compound-words/nevertheless-vs-nonetheless/
Ex: NonethelessĀ
Namjoon said to Jimin,Ā āYa got no jams.ā Then Jimin replied,ā Nonetheless, Army thinks IĀ have jams.ā
(Here the jams are used as the
āsomething that can be measurably quantifiedā
that we are saying and amount in contrast to. We can understand it better by breaking it off at just none or never to check. Seeing as
āJimin has noneā
sounds correct, whereas
Ā āyou have neverā
would be incorrect and sounds it. None means not one, that'sĀ another great way to remember and try in place of the word to indicateĀ if it sounds right. Carrying this through the example to show this, it sounds fine to say
āJimin, you have not one (or a single) jam.ā
How Jimin contrasts this is by confirming that, while the facts are that Namjoon says he has none, with the word
Ā ānonethelessā,
in the same breath (word) Jimin is saying Namjoon is indicating that Namjoonsā measurement/amount/number of jamsĀ that he says he has is none. But, contrasts this fact by saying,
in spite
of Namjoon feeling that true, Army thinks the opposite, indicating he has some (at least in others opinion-based measurements.))

Ex: Nevertheless
Henry said heād take us on a nice, scenicĀ walk. Nevertheless, he failed to mention itād end with murdering his longtime friend.
(A good rule for this word is to replace it with āhoweverā to see if it sounds right. So, let's give that a try with the example,
āHenry said heād take us on a nice, scenic walk. However, he failed to mention itād end with murdering his longtime friend.ā
Yup, sounds right! Weāre contrasting the idea of this event occurring as was stated. While the event is did happen it was contrary to what was told to them. Henry said the walk would be a nice, scenic walk, which wasnāt entirely true. We indicate this in the word ānonethelessā.)
I hope this helps and was fun for you! <3 Keep staying curious and learning a bit of something new every day! <3
