something here I was thinking. a part of the fandom is saying it's weird that Luke isn't having as many emotions, facial expressions, anything of the dramatic type that reminds him of him. And like, I realized that this only happens to him depending on who he hangs out with. Right now he's alone trying to rebuild something that was lost, and that's quite a challenge! pull life. imagine what he's doing! and at the moment (in my view) I think he feels lonely. now he's had Ashoka's company for a little while, but he should see her as an important figure and not a close friend (like she was with Anakin). so... with Grogu he felt a little bit more excited, and it's something new and at the same time nostalgic for him to have spent time with Baby Yoda.
we see that he was different when he lived more with intimate, common people. your friends, your family. a very clear example of this: him with Han. Han is the sarcastic extrovert who talks everything he wants, doesn't mind taking risks, is outrageous as much as he wants, provokes, gets into trouble, and adventure (danger) should be his last name. Luke was the exact "opposite" of that, being the quiet sensible naive of the group. and his friendship with Han (skysolo fans please don't kill me) shows how it works differently. so I think like this... that Luke changes his personality according to who he hangs out with, what person he's close to. so much so that what forms the personality of people are: temperament and environment. so it will depend a lot on his coexistence, on how he is living.
I think it's normal for him to change now at the moment. your thoughts are changing, feelings, actions and so, habits. there's still a part of his old Luke of course, but we have to remember that he's been through a lot, and now he's taking on a new responsibility, stage of his life. so I think if we're going to see more scenes of Luke being fun, lively, sweet and funny, it's going to be with someone on his side. In short: he needs someone. maybe we'll see more of that from him if he goes back to his old friendships, or if he gets new ones. I honestly really want him to become Din's friend ("friend"....), because Din's way is completely amazing, and on Luke's side they would be quite a duo. something that I would also particularly like to see, would be Ezra showing up. ever thought: Ezra and Luke. THEY WOULD BE VERY GOOD. the truth is that Luke needs an extrovert to complete him: and let's face it that Din and Grogu are just as introverted as he is.
Ashoka as far as I know is extroverted, but she is so far away (so far we haven't seen much of her with Luke) from him. Leia, Han, Lando and Chewie are extroverts (C3PO is introverted). the only extrovert close to Luke is R2D2, but he's not even human. Like I've been saying, if Ezra became Luke's friend it would be so cool to see that kind of silent × talkative friendship again. I mention this because I'm the type of person who loves studying about mbti type, and I kind of have a slight obsession with it. so that's it guys. don't curse Luke, give him a hug, because all he needs now is a friend/friends (or a boyfriend)
