Sorry, I just saw part of your asks and I think home fries and fried potatoes are pretty much the same (potatoes cut into almost pyramid-shapes or rectangles) then fried. I think "breakfast potatoes" are a potato hash (if it includes other items like meat and veggies), but they're different than hashbrowns. SORRY I JUST GOT EXCITED. I'M FROM LITERAL POTATO COUNTRY AND WE HAVE A GIANT POTATO STATUE & MUSEUM HERE SO... go potatoes!
Haha, nah that’s fine. More people from the Potato Fandom pls. Hahah. Again, I’m only calling it what my family has been calling it. My grandpa makes breakfast potatoes a different way by cutting them like chips and then adding a bunch of oil and onions.Â
Potatos are so unviersal. THEY GOOD FOR EVERYTHING. I just like especailly how my mom makes them lol. Home fries makes me think of long slices of potatoes that are thrown into the oven, while fried potatoes makes me think of dicing the potatoes and throwing them in the deep fat fryer. Then there are hash browns that I’m not fond of because the potatoes are mushed together lol.Â
