this famous uk fish n chips restaurant just recently opened up in sky avenue and we got attracted by the ads and decided to have dinner here last month. the restaurant was packed even though we came early, so it is a really popular place. managed to get a table after a few minutes though, lucky.

we ordered the cod burger and regular cod fish n chips, with a lemonade to share. the lemonade comes in this really fun glass bottle which has a shape of a open mouthed fish, ehehe.. and the fish n chips menu is also interesting as it comes in a large and legendary size, we saw some table ordered, and the fish was really really long! would be awesome to share though.

the fish n chips did not disappoint, the batter is really light and crispy and the fish is still intact with texture and not too mushy. even though it is deep fried, there’s no greasiness at all, and the chips are really really thick and flavorful, i love this type of chips. the peas are great too with a refreshing taste.

cod burger is similar, but fish fillet is in a much smaller size, nothing to shout about on the burger though. both dishes are very satisfying and the portion were just nice.
