But mostly it’s ‘That’s Rocks annoying crafty first Mate who keeps winning the Davyback’s by borderline cheating’. And she keeps making us do work.

In the original story Rock’s, upon discovering the full story, nearly raided Mary Geoise again. But he held back, as he figured a better punishment was Garling assuming Red was dead, and committing to his original plan to overthrow everything.

Eris and Red were great friends, and Teach was a good playmate and friend to the twins.

As already pointed out, the Manmayer and Figarland families of the Celestial Dragons have been references in S2E1.

The theatre that was playing the "Hero of the Marines" show has a sign saying Manmayer on top.

And a town square in Loguetown as a store called "Figarland Square Wines & Spirits," with said square being name dafter the family.

Firstly, members of both the Manmayer and Figarland Families participated in the Native Hunting Competition at God Valley, thus were part of the incident that was named after it.

With first-hand experience, I wouldn't be surprised if the Manmayer Family played some part in producing the play, redirecting the narrative. Whether they own the theatre or gave so many donations that it was named after them, it's still an interesting detail.

As for Figarland Family, I originally thought that it wouldn't hurt having a second income, but why would they? My second thought was them trying to show off their 'generosity' by making products the common people.

But my third thought?

Garling would send Shamrock there to work minimum-wage whenever he got mad and punished him. Just "You're grounded, boy! Time to work just like the poor!"

Yeah, Benn set that place ablaze and burned it to cinders. Shanks tracked him down because of it.

Every time I open my Vanilla drafts it makes me laugh because my interpretation of Loki was somehow very very off, but also somehow on point? The tsundere vibes were strong in his design.

3. I’m trying really hard to be patient, as I’ve got both entire Figarland son fics plotted out. I just want to write Shamrock’s first as it covers the ‘middle’ of the timeline, and we haven’t seen much of his personality yet.

Uta is canon in the fics, and an important plot point for Shanks.

The utter sexual tension separated Red and Garling have split the skies. Or maybe that’s their haki, lol. I do have a fic where Garling has a daughter, but you’ll have to wait for that.
