WIP Wednesday Last Sentence You Wrote
Happy Wednesday! Itās mid-week and time to share those sentences! (Someone is in an unusually upbeat mood for Wednesday š)
Make a new post with the last sentence* you wrote on your current WIP*Ā (and tag some friends if you want)
Somewhere below the adrenaline of surgery and the exhaustion of the seemingly-interminable shift and the fear of bodily harm at the hands of the blonde doctor, the Mikaelson scion realized another feeling was building, in the pit of her stomach and below. It was a need, swelling from embers neglected for too long. It was a pull, tightening inside her already-tightly-wound body. It was a desire, fed by the embers, bringing her to a rolling boil. She gripped the corner of the wall, knuckles turning white. Yes, it had quickly grown to an inferno, consuming every part of her. Dr Hope Mikaelson needed release.
As prophesied on Monday night, Tuesday was a bit of a letdown writing-wiseābut it wasnāt as bad as most Tuesdays have been, still managing 311 words across two WIPs! Given that the plagiarist-posting continues 𤮠with more new works posted on Tuesday, I spent some time Tuesday evening first editing the existing text of Scene 4 of Scenes from Mikaelson Memorial Hospital and then writing some more. Hereās the entire last paragraph, since the last sentence alone would have been cruel š
The only way it would be better was if there were nothing between their skin, but the heiress wasnāt sure if she would be that lucky tonightāor if she would be ready for that level of intimacy.
Next up, the last sentence of Tuesday afternoonās work on the mikerowave5year fic. Iām not really sure about ābetween their skināāit feels awkward, but āskinsā doesnāt seem right, either (and I specifically donāt want to use ābodiesāāor āthemāāhere; I want āskinā) š¤
In the before times, after a dayādaysālike this, Yelena would have wanted nothing more than to get home and curl up with Fanny. Unfortunately, that wasnāt an option anymore.
Finally, Monday nightās last sentence from the not-so-short-indeed not so short little ficlet. With a couple of good writing days yet, I might have this ready for the weekend š¬š¤ since I have started the final scene. Weāre all hoping I can keep it under 5K words, right? š (ā¦and only two WIP Wednesday appearances)
Once again, working on 3 fics over the past week is an accomplishment Iām quite pleased with (although the recent daily word counts make me even happier). Progress continues! š
