U were shinobu's tsuguko, insect breathing. Of course she didn't go easy on u when going on training, instead she made it more harder for u. Watching with a keen eye, and pointing out your mistakes with a sweet voice.
"Ara Ara y/n San! Your swings are a bit sloppy!~" she points out with a giggle, as u stood there pink in the ears and face.
But then again, u were also her closest friend. So it's bound to show. Every time u are training with the others she would show her favouritism.
"My my! Everyone! Look at Y/n's speed, how admirable! Everyone should at least be that fast~" She says, comparing them with u.
U stood there awkwardly holding your sword, but inside u felt pride and joy and also unsurprised, since she was your friend..
Later on she was definitely rewarding you with food, and she's definitely paying.
"thanks shinobu.." u said while chewing on your food happily
She only smiled softly
"Ara Ara! How could I not? U did exceptionally well today y/n San!"
She praised with a giggle.
U swore u felt flowers were floating around you.
Obanai
Yeah, this dude is absolutely firm on favouritism. He treats the other trainees like dog shit on the side of the road, and he treats u like a normal human being!
U stood there awkwardly as u eyed all the other trainees tied up.
"uh.. obanai, can I ask why are they tied up?" U said, concern for the others flooded in u.
He shrugged casually
"they disrespected me, offended me, annoyed me, pissed me off. Any other questions?" He says calmly
U just stood there awkwardly, not having any.
"good, then we continue."
After the sparring u lasted well, the others expected obanai to be unfair again but then..
"your free to move on to the next hashira." Said obanai casually.
"HAH?!!!??" said all the men/women tied up in unison.
U just smiled and waved goodbye to him. He waved back silently.
Mitsuri
Mitsuri is the type of person to be as kind as everyone, she will train u just the same, treat u as kindly. But also since you're her friend she will let u go to the next hashira a bit easier than the others.
"KYAA!! Y/N SAN! YOU ARRIVED!" squealed mitsuri in joy.
U nodded Happily, pleased to see your always joyful friend.
"yeah! I'm here!" U smiled
When u came in, u smelled pancakes, as usual. But this time it was stacked more then usual, and the dosage of honey was crazy. (Imagine pancake drenched so much with honey to the point it's surrounding the plate.)
"m-mitsuri.. isn't this a bit to much?" U said but inside your tummy was grumbling so loudly.
Mitsuri just smiled happily
"Our training is gonna be really hard u know! That's why I want to feed u as much as possible!" Said mitsuri positively, u ate it and finished it in 5 mins.
"thanks mitsuri! Your food is so delicious!" U praised her happily.
Stars were literally appearing on her eyes.
"I'm so so glad y/n San! I promise everytime u come over I'll cook this for u!"

Sanemi (aka salami)
Yeah this dude is brutal to the others, favouritism is unreal.

Sanemi with the feral grin of his, turned to u smiling so brightly.

U just stood there, pale as the other trainees eyed u with both envy and jealousy. Wishing to be the favourite as well.
"no thanks.." u refused awkwardly, sanemi frowned.
"tch, your missing out. But fine."
He said, before looking at all the trainees.
"oi! Don't u have swinging to do! Especially you Tanaka kid! You have 2500 left! Get to swinging!"
He yells
"I don't care if your arms fall off while u do it! Just swing!"
He turns to the poor trainee he was beating up
"now where was I? Oh right.. u brat."
He said evilly with an infuriating smirk.
After some time of training and unfair ass beating. Sanemi turned to u with a grin.
"y/n you passed! You can proceed to the next hashira yeah?" He grinned
The other trainees were so shocked by the favouritism they dropped their swords.
U smiled widely
"thanks sanemi!" You walked away happily and he grinned
He turns to the others
"all of u do push ups, squats, sword swings before the sunset!"
They all groaned
"what u groaning for! Hurry up and return to training before I beat your ass!" Said sanemi.
Giyu
There isn't any favouritism, giyu treats everyone as equally. But treating u to warm soba in the winter is his way of praising u. (Introvert tendencies be like)
"mm! This soba is so good, especially in winter!" U said happily, giyu just ate silently.
"u did.. well today. I am glad." He says quietly and u turn to him with a smile.
"u think so? Thanks tomioka!" U said happily, pleased by his praise.
"I'm.. taking u out for soba everyday." He says softly, before slurping
U looked at him in shock
"u dont need to do such things tomioka!--"
"no."
U looked at him in shock, then back at your soba, sighed in resignation and slurped with him quietly.
Muichiro
Bro, u already saw how he acted towards tanjiro. Now imagine his behavior between his literal bestfriend AND tsuguko. Oh no, it's gonna be wild.
The moment u come in, muichiro lights up like a bulb in a dark room. He smiled at u ever so brightly.
"Y/n!" Called out Muichiro with an innocent smile. U smiled back.
"Hey Mui! I'm excited for our training!" U said happily, and then muichiro smiled again.
"actually, I don't think u will be needing training! U can go to the next hashira already." He replied happily as he rested a hand on your shoulder.
U looked at him in shock.
"but- I just came.."
"we will be doing a few sword swings! Atleast 1000." He says casually.
"and a bit of sparring, your already above that so u should skip this one!"
He said happily.
U just blinked at him, before slowly smiling.
"thanks muichiro, I really mean it!"
You walk away as the other trainees stared in shock.
"but mister muichiro! We have been here for 2 weeks! Surely u could-"
They were immediately shut up by a death glare from him.
"hah? Who said u could? Tone that down or I'll wipe the floor with your ass."
He said, and they whimpered in fear, backing away.
"s-sorry Mr tokito.."
Rengoku
Bro is a daily motivational quoter, he would say a couple of motivating words while all of you run, he is a good trainer and treats all the same. Although, you're already used to his rough training so it's not a challenge for you.
"Ah! Young L/n, I see you have arrived! Come, come join us." He said warmly, and u smiled.
"Thanks Mr Rengoku!" You said with a grin on your face. He then lightened up, like a flame in the dark night.
"No problem! The training we will be doing, young L/n, will be very challenging!" Said Rengoku.
U smile knowingly.
"It's fine Mr Rengoku, I'm pretty sure I can endure your training!" U said.
He smiled brightly and patted your shoulder.
"I have no doubt young l/n! You are after all, the one of the brightest tsuguko I've had since Mrs Kanroji!" Said Rengoku, and u smiled.
"Now, let's get to training shall we?" He said with his go happy smile.
After 30 mins of training, everyone was sweaty, achy and tired. You were there doing your best as usual.
"keep up everyone! Don't extinguish the flame inside u just yet, keep burning! Keep burning!" Cried out Rengoku, as he said the 50th motivational quote for today.
He looks at u brightly.
"excellent work Young L/n! I had no doubt about u!" He said brightly, all the trainees looked at you in shock.
They all looked at you with envy, jealousy, wishing to be you.
Your ears turn red in embarrassment.
"it's nothing Mr. Rengoku." U said politely.
"it's not even fair, she's a tsuguko of Mr Rengoku so of course she would do good.." muttered a trainee from far away.
