Herb Farm Day 2
Picked some peas, at Honey Locust Farm, the other day. Left less mature peas on plant. New flowers will bring more fruit, the peas.
Weeded the row of anise hyssop, lovely scented leaves. Plan to thin them out and transplant elsewhere to give them room to grow.
Anise hyssop row to the right is now weeded. Peas growing to the left in a row with poles and strings to keep the trailing plant upward.
Flowers emerging from the fava beans, a lovely sight.
Planted savory in existing plastic holes, with the company of other herbs to it’s sides. Ready to plant since outgrown small pots grown in.
Removed unwanted plants from tomato row, since tomato plants recently planted. Far left is thyme, which is flowering, and to the right of tomato is dill, then Swiss chard and spinach. Far right is peas.
