Is there a muse / character you found refreshing to begin writing? What do you like most about writing that character?

Not on Tumblr but elsewhere I do a lot more weird/odd things and I've gotten to write some canons from VTM:B and I looooooooooooove it. It's so refreshing to write haughty assholes who think they can (and sometimes literally do) control other people. I love getting to write just the bitchiest bitch you've ever seen.

Is there anyone you've met in the rpc who has made a positive impact on you?

@niratias @futuremyopia have to be my two shout outs here. Both of them welcomed me back into the RPC immediately and with open arms when that can be such a hard thing to do. Both of them have inspired me so much as writers, as artists, and have absolutely brain rotted me with their muses.

AND I do have them to thank for the community that I've fallen into since a lot of my mutuals weer first their mutuals, and I couldn't be more thankful for that!

It's an awesome group of people I've come to know.

What are some of your favorite tropes?

I do love found family things, or even just friendships that are so deep they fall into platonic soulmates or something that's just as important and impactful as romance but without the need for it.

Each text is barely sent thanks to said kid dangling off one of Emily's arms as she types. He's using her like a jungle gym, giggling and swinging back and forth with his legs pulled up into himself.

       ❝ Where  iiiis  she?! ❞   Junior whines playfully, not an ounce of impatience actually showing through all his dimpled smiles. Emily can only shoot him a look back, scrunching up her nose to give him an equally emptily impatient look.

       ❝ Hold your horses, baby, she's comin'. ❞   They were both excited to see Coffi, really, and that's why she'd been poking her by text anyway. In one swift draw of her arms, she's scooped her son up, blowing raspberries into his face while she attempts to entertain him for as long as it takes Coffi to get to their apartment in the meantime

"Hmm?"

Soft brown hues look to his friend, a brief inquisitive tilt soon following. Those large calloused hands are preoccupied with wrapping her order. Empanadas de Plátano Maduro with Lunas's summer special of strawberry lemonade.

"One thing attractive about you?"

He echoes with her question with genuine curiosity. Not a bad question. Honestly fair considering they had been hanging out a little more often since he helped carry some equipment after her gig. Coffi could definitely lug those turn tables and mixes herself but Chris wasn't the type to not help out a fellow music lover.

His mind wanders to the dj's form. Memories of those arms flexing as she exerted effort in lifting a speaker. He'd be lying if her thighs didn't go unnoticed in his eyes nor would he confirm if his eyes weren't locked on those eye catching shoulders.

"I mean if I can be honest," Chris muses as he slides Coffi her order. "You're a cutie. A baddie honestly."

He smiles.

"But if I had to pick one thing, I'd say your thighs. As someone who has larger thighs, I admire yours. They're super toned and perfectly shaped. Very pleasing to anyone who gets to see them in the summer."

"Kaiju. Allegedly," the android replied as narrowly dodged a lamp post. "A relatively small one."

The only reason that thing was regarded as a 'kaiju' by anyone was because the guy controlling it has very loudly proclaimed all his creations to be so. This thing was like barely the height of a bus. Supposedly it was a mock-up model for a giant monster but who really cares about the specifics when that thing was tearing up the streets in pursuit of the fastest thing around on two legs.

In this spot, there was a garden. Mostly totaled. Except...

The Cosmic Contender did as instructed, taking in oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide to begin relaxing. He allowed some small tactile contact-- Coffi was trying to let him know he wasn't alone. Rex attempted to reciprocate that sentiment, before gesturing to the garden he'd been backed into at one point during some earlier harrowed proceedings.

... Amidst the ruin, there was a piddling fraction of the patch where it seemed like the soil was undisturbed with its full head of grass blades, the flowers blooming despite no sunlight at this night time hour. While all around it there were either ruined plots or hasty attempts to replant what had been tampered with. Despite how small the area of effect was on the revitalized part compared to what was still scattered, it was practically miraculous.

ahmya’s eyes do not linger on @djdivius for more than a second. instead, they drift downward as she begins rifling through the pockets hidden in her skirt. she loves skirts like this. most people seem to think they are decorative first and practical second, but pockets make everything better.

 “ uh.. ”

the sound catches in her throat. her accent grows harsher as the words come out, thickening around unfamiliar english as she pieces the sentence together one fragment at a time.

 “ someone.. who .. no like them.. anymore than i.. do. ”

it comes out as a statement, or at least she intends it to. but the slight tilt of her head and the uncertain motion of her hand turn it into something closer to a question.

 “ information? ”

her head tips the opposite direction this time, causing brown hair to spill across her exposed shoulders. the loose strands slide over the crimson fabric of her off-the-shoulder dress, catching the light as they fall.

she gestures again, as if trying to bridge the gap between languages through determination alone.

 “ ..pay... ” there is a pause. her hand disappears into a pocket once more before emerging with a stack of green. far more than most would see in their lifetime as these are painted in hundreds.

“ money. ”

[[ Rex has learned a lot from people he's met on his travels over the years. Vagrants. Weirdos. Masters of things. Plain folk with overlooked wisdom. Monsters both of wild animal and mysterious sentient being varieties.

Here are a few of the major ones though:

Big Rutler: Another superpowered Nypardian and a supervisor for the Pan-Galaxia Reserves out in deeper space. He also trained Rex's 'cousins' from the incubation pod batches in energy control, science, and combat. Rex was the runt of the litter and a 'problem child,' so Rutler is tougher on him. They still interact a lot, especially whenever Rex helps Pan-Galaxia.

The Wallflower Witch: This spellcasting supervillain and her gang taught Rex about Earth culture and the wider range of possibilities of not only his powerset, but those of others out there. They were also a good deal more patient with him.

The Forward Thinker: A highly esteemed, more outwardly alien member of the space-based Psionic Patrol. FT was not only an accomplished ESPer, but a philosopher. His lessons proved challenging, Rex only finding answers gradually later in life, and his death instilled a fear in Rex of his own origins that gripped him for much of his adolescence.
