"Not that I'm arguin' with you..." Price adjusted his weight a bit to better expose the wound gushing on his side. "But I don't particularly feel very lucky at the moment. Perhaps you can give us some good news and clear it up?"
He was trying to keep a good attitude because right at the very moment he was almost frothing from the rage. He had gotten caught up in obtaining some important intel and for a moment lost track of his surroundings. He'd been so focused on what he was doing he didn't see the soldier approaching from behind him. His carelessness had nearly cost them all the mission, and he was meant to be the damn captain.
It was enough to make him want to throw something. But he was safe now and being cared for and there really wasn't any reason for him to throw a fit now when it was too late.
Enlil is grabbing Bells waist and then planting a smooch on their cheek with a lovely flap of their own wings to try and make it seem....romantic
