I've been thinking up a little disassembly drone OC. Not sure on her name yet I was wanting to go with K which seems to be taken.

(CAN SOMEONE PLEASE VERIFY IF ALL THIS INFORMATION ON THE TEMPERATURES IS CORRECT?)

Heat resistance:

If we assume the drones are made out of iron: Steel begins to lose strength around 204C (400F) and structural integrity around a 593C (1,100°F). Pure iron melts around 1,537C (2,800F) while many steel alloys begin to melt around 1,232C - 1,593F (2,250F - 2,900°F).

If we assume the worker drones are made out of lithium, or at-least their battery based on Uzi’s POV (unless if this was just the name of the song she was playing since the top- “DEAD BATTERIES” is the canon name of a worker drone music band, & it also says DRONE AMP above): Lithium-iron batteries have a max safe operating temperature of 60C - 70C (140F - 158F).

EDIT: Lithium is just the name of the song she was listening to.

Uzi, Doll, N & Cyn have resisted explosions in episodes 1, 2, 3, 4 & 7 which are 2,480C (4,496F). Military bomb tests have documented temperatures of 2,480C - 4,500C (4,496F - 8,132F). It makes sense for the disassembly drones to be around these ranges since disassembly drones were created by Cyn to fight back against humanity, & they have tanked missiles & the explosions from them before.

The temperature of hypersonic missiles (the disassembly drones missiles are extremely likely to be hypersonic missiles) can exceed around 1,600C (3,000F) which N, V, J, Doll, Cyn & Lizzy have all tanked before.

Brandon, a worker drone is perfectly fine despite his head being on fire for several days - weeks. Fire generally ranges from 500C - over 3,000C (932F - 5,432F). However, there’s sparks that appear right before his head catches on fire. Fires started by electricity (arcs, sparks, or short circuits) range from 2,760C - a little over 5,500C (5,000F to over 9,932F, likely 10,000F).

Both nerfed solver hosts (dissasembly drones) & full solver hosts (solver host drones from the labs, Uzi, Nori, Doll & Cyn) can also resist high-temp microwaves, which only makes them sluggish according to Alice. Specialized high-temperature processing microwaves can exceed over 1,000C (1,832F).

Uzi & N also survive re-entry which typically reaches between 2,500C - 3,000C (2,500F - 5,000F) (they likely would’ve had to tank this in the spaceship explosion). Low-Earth orbit shuttle re-entries in specific peak around 1,500C (2,700F).

Shock layer plasma is a highly ionized, dense gas region formed between a body and a detached shock wave, typically at hypersonic speeds. It constitutes a thin layer where flow changes from supersonic to subsonic & temperatures range from 6,726C (7,000K or 12,140F) - 14,726C (15,000K or 26,540F). Disassembly drones have consistently shown that they can reach subsonic - supersonic+ & hypersonic speeds. Shock layer plasma also occurs during re-entry from space.

In episode 6, Nori while controlled by Cyn buries down into copper 9 towards its core to start devouring it. This is heavily implied in N’s flashback in episode 7 & then happens again at the end of episode 7 towards the start of episode 8 where Cyn herself devours whatever is left of the planet. If we assume that copper 9’s core is the same as earth’s, then Nori would’ve had to tank around 6,000C (10,800F - 10,832F).

Hear resistance - Tessa’s spacesuit:

Tessa’s spacesuit would’ve likely been protecting her from all the fine silicate particles (abestos) & also the low temperatures of the planet. Spacesuits can resist freezing temperatures of -156C - 121C (-248F - 249.8F)

Results:

Minimum temperatures: 1,600C (3,000F) (tanking hypersonic missiles). 2,480C - 4,500C (4,496F - 8,132F) (military bomb tests). 2,760C - a little over 5,500C (5,000F to over 9,932F, likely 10,000F) (electricity fires). 6,000C (10,800F - 10,832F) (planet’s core).

Max temperatures: 6,726C (7,000K or 12,140F) - 14,726C (15,000K or 26,540F) (shock layer plasma).

Heat resistance - items the disassembly drones create (SPECULATIVE & HIGHLY DEBATABLE):

In the end credits, J creates a plasma torch to fix the spaceship. The weapons disassembly drones have to create is stated to be stored via a hammerspace. But given that V is only able to switch to her claws with one hand after it’s freed from the table restraints (in episode 6) connected to the inside of her arm, it’s possible that they store their weapons in their bodies with their bodies acting as / their insides / their nerfed solvers possessing a hammerspace. Therefore, their bodies MIGHT need to internally tank the temperature it emits when they first create it.

Oxy-fuel torches range from 3,100C - 3,500C (5,612F - 6,332F). Plasma torches range from 10,000C - over 30,000C (18,032F - over 54,032F).
