ANOTHER DOOMED LOVERS RABBITOLOGY SONG HAS HIT THE FANDOM

So, pretty soon I am going to be beginning work on the Murder Drones longfic I have been planning to write based loosely around the Hypothetical Movie Outline I wrote several months ago. With that in mind, I am trying to come up with tile ideas, but this is something I am kind of bad at.

I do have a couple so far, mainly all derived from the lyrics of FOREVER since, well it felt appropriate to use the credits song in some way for the title of a sequel fic. Plus given the fic involves the leftover plot threads regarding Tessa's fate (given part of the song her from her POV) and J's redemption being a major element, it felt appropriate. So I have created a poll of my preliminary ideas to see which ones people like.

Worker/V: *annoying uzi*

Uzi: BITE ME

N: *slowly slides uzi to the side* caaalm down no murder

Anyways here it is a little treat from me to you!

“A few times.” He took that as confirmation and turned left as they stepped out onto the street. She noted how he shortened his lengthy stride to match her shorter one, and she appreciated it as she tucked her hands into her pockets trying and failing to not grimace at the cold. At least it wasn’t windy.

When she glanced over at him, he was looking down the sidewalk, his hands swinging freely at his sides. How was he not cold?

She asked him as much, sinking further into her own jacket.

“I just run hot I guess.” He shrugged looking over at her, he must have noticed her hunched shoulders and her hands shoved as deep into his pockets as they could go.

“Do you want my coat?” She had to admit the offer was appealing, his fur lined brown jacket was halfway unzipped and his black undershirt said something in white block letters that she couldn’t quite make out.

“I don’t need your chivalry.” She hissed, realizing too late she probably came off way harsher than she intended.

But N just laughed and started taking off the jacket anyway.

“I promise it’s not chivalry, just genuine concern for your wellbeing.” As he fully shrugged out of the jacket and offered it to her, she witnessed the full glory of his “I paused my video game for this” shirt and couldn’t stop from snorting.

“Nice shirt.” She took the jacket from him, secretly grateful. It was big enough that she easily pulled it over her own coat. The sleeves completely covered her hands and came down to about mid-thigh, and she was once again reminded of how much taller he was than her. She didn’t bother zipping it up, and it was enough of a shield against the chill that she was able to relax for the first time since they left the cafe.

He looked down as if he had forgotten what he was wearing.

“Oh yeah,” he chuckled, “V found it thrifting and got it for me, she was giggling so hard when she handed me the bag that I was worried she had put a spider in it or something to scare me.”

She couldn’t stop the small smile, “Are you scared of spiders?”

His eyes widened comically, “Oh yeah, terrified.”

“But why?” Uzi started, glancing at him incredulously, “You are like a thousand times bigger than any spider.”

He shook his head and actually, visibly, shivered, “Nothing should have that many legs.”

She rolled her eyes and looked back down the sidewalk, but found herself, once again, smiling.

“I had a pet tarantula when I was twelve.”

“You scare me.”

That particular comment made her smile in earnest.

“Good.”

They had come to a stop at an intersection, their destination visible across the street. N turned to face her as they waited for the light indicating they could cross. She glanced up at him, slightly startled at the undivided attention.

“Uzi, do you-”
