Day 9, Seoul Lantern Festival, of KPDH Advent Calendar

With Romance

“This so beats lighting up a Christmas tree to a public crowd.”

Romance’s chest rumbles in soft chuckles, your body resting on his in a warm hug as you two stand upon the grass in a quiet, private spot. Away from crowds, away from sounds other than Romance’s calm beat and both of your voices, away from anything that could ruin and take away the euphoric awe that leaves you, done by the sight before your very eyes.

Lights among lights, surrounding in a near transparent wraps with flames as the only source of energy, you watch as hundreds and hundreds of lanterns lit and fly silent under the night sky. A Tangled experience without being in the water, with your own Flynn Rider of pink hair and romantic wordplay holding you close.

“I can agree,” his deep voice penetrates into your being, your eyes fluttering. Oh, how you just love hearing his voice, whether in song or in current conversation. Especially how he speaks his love towards you in a low volume, only for you to hear. “But the magic shines even better with you here.”

Flustered, your nose graze at his shirt, wanting to hide but also cherish as your heart races. “You’re so cheesy,” you choose to mutter out.

“I speak nothing but the truth, Darling. It truly is something to behold, my first ever shared with you. Artistic craftsmanship flying about like amber souls, with cravings of personalities present when close among sights… I’m grateful for its existence, but even more so with you. Both in sharing this sight, and sharing my life.”

A smile rests at your lips, feeling drunk by his words and making his hold be the bed you melt into. You then nuzzle close to his neck, lay a lingering kiss at his collarbone near the chain of his heart necklace. One arm gathers you further at your waist, the other letting go only to smooth back your hair. Giving space to share a kiss on part of your forehead.

It’s a dream come true. A fantasy that you could only imagine whether at home when daydreaming, or a place like Cinderella’s Castle where the firework show happens at night. You honestly can’t believe a guy like Romance could be yours and you with him – but as the warmth radiates off each other, how catches of his cologne becomes your smell of notice, how some of the lanterns float close to hear soft crackling of the fire, and how his heart beats at a gentle pace under your ear makes you know with full awareness.

You’re in love. He’s in love.

And each flame inside a lantern gives off that same flame that rests in you. One you believe would be a challenge to die off – it tends to grow, after all, near a forest fire’s strength.

The same with him, as well, as Romance then pulls back his arm completely, rummaging through his pocket until his phone is in hand. Not like it matters – until the speakers came on. And a very familiar song comes to play.

“Nooo,” you drag out in shock and humor.

You look at him, the humor shining on your face as he looks at you with admiration. “Care to dance, my love?”

Rapunzel begins to sing a few words in before you can nod. Returning focus back on his arms, this time a sway rests between you two with one hand out to keep hold of his phone at a distance, not to extend nor be too close for your hearings.

As the chorus comes, you glance over his shoulder to see a lantern coming towards you two. Reaching out, you feel the radiating heat of the lantern before gently rising it away, the same act as Rapunzel before the lantern could land in the water, watching it fly up and over your heads.

“Truly magical.”

You look at him, and close lanterns’ lights glow in his deep brown eyes. Releasing in-depth view of his love towards you.

Your heart races more as you give a loving smile in return, cupping his cheek that he nuzzles a little upon your palm.

“Very.”

His lips then rests upon yours, inviting to have that sweet love in a romantic atmosphere shine like a precious sundrop.

“All at once everything looks different

“Now that I see you…”

Can you believe it’s been FIFTEEN YEARS since Tangled came out?! I swear, it felt only yesterday when I saw it in theaters! Insane, and yet still iconic to this day along with that cute wedding short and its 2D cartoon show. And, of course, Romance had to be in part of this prompt. I mean, c’mon: A romantic guy? Lanterns flying about? Who wouldn’t think it would make a good romantic atmosphere? It damn sure worked here! 😂🏮

Also, we gotta show more love to this demon! He’s so criminally underrated! 😭💖

Rapunzel or Jinx?

Disney version of lightcannon

Kinda mixed up with the two characters, jinx is a criminal but she have a lot in common with Rapunzel.

Many people say that it is showing that the paper in Lloyd's hand is the reason that the two of them do not like each other anymore. And that is a fine theory don't get me wrong! But I have my own:

It is a known fact 'Indogo Park' is inspired by Disney and their parks, and I think so is this picture.

The Disney World ride "Mr Toads Wild Ride " was replaced in 1998 by "The Many Adventures of Winnie Pooh". But as an Easter egg , Imaginers put in a little nod to the old ride that was replaced: a picture of Mr Toad giving Owl the deed of the ride

It is locatet at the entrance of Owls hous , and it can be easily missed.

Now let's look at both pictures,aren't they similar?

But there is also another clue that the picture of Rambley and Lloyd is a refrence to this!

When the train crashes, and we have to go backstage to fix it we find this :

A sign to a ride called "Lloyd's Limos." But the park does not seem to have a ride with such a name , or at least the current version we visit. The ride probably existed once in the park , but it got remodelled and replaced by the train ride with Rambly.

((The name of the Lloyd ride probably had even the same nature as the ride with Rambly, the only difference beeing that the visitor rode a limo insted of a train , but tgat is just my theory))

So TLDR: The picture is a refrence to Disneyland, and not only a lore clue
