What I learned from being alone
I learned to recognize my own energy. When you're with people all the time, you feel a certain way around them. And especially when you grow up in a toxic household, the version you embody every day is probably not the real you.
But being alone really shows you your own energy. And when you meet people, you recognize if your energy changes. And if it does in a negative way, it's so much easier to notice that and it's so much easier to leave these kinds of people. Because you know your own energy. You know what it feels like to be you.
