Sirens hated males. Humans hated them for a living, for existing. Forced to be slaves for their entertainment. It was warented that sirens of future generations would hate human males. The sea was their home, ‘n they were paying the price for that.

But there was once a time where Sirens used to be called Mermaid. Their lithe body moved gracefully underwater, slender tail undulating gently with every movement. They use to have long, silken hair floated behind them, caught in the current and shining like liquid gold against the deep blue of the ocean.

Scales were smooth, pearly white, and her eyes glowed like glowing diamonds. Siren used to be a vision of beauty and grace, moving with sure and effortless ease through the water. But when human males came into the picture and hate corrupted that once beautiful souls.

All living things will evolve to survive their predator. To escape the predator you must become the apex predator. Kill or be killed. And soon Mermaid ceased to exist and Sirens came to life. Sirens developed the ability to lure their prey, specifically men, with a song. Dulling their senses with their sweet and irresistible voices. Singing songs that are so beautiful and seductive that they can ensnare any mortal man who listens to their song.

Sirens have even adapted to resemble females in the human species. Making it easier to lure men to their demise. And the centuries went by, and slowly did the horrifying survivors of Sirens live to tell the tale turned into mythologies and myth, sirens went back to thier peaceful states. But the damage has been done.
