reasonings behind each design:

twilight - made her colour scheme a little more blue so that she actually somewhat resembles her dad. i thought it would be cool for her colours to become more gold after her alicorn change as a way of showing that it was celestia’s magic that transformed her (maybe she’ have stayed blue if it had been luna idfk)

rainbow dash - barely changed anything really. wanted her to have goggles cuz i thought it made sense

applejack - wanted her hair to be a bit more bouncy like her mum’s. also gave her lots of accessories cuz, like, she works on a farm it makes sense

rarity - gave her a cooler colour palette along with dark spots on her coat because i have always been and always will be a slut for nightmare rarity

fluttershy - lots of flowers and leaves as well as very minor deer attributes to show her connection to nature
