Her funeral was a gloomy one, harsh rain, thunder, lightning, violent winds. A hooded shadow stood there watching from afar, in complete boredom, as familiars and strangers cried as her casket was lowered six feet underground. One by one, each guest threw a white rose into her grave. ‘Symbolic’ thought the shadow, a new beginning.

One by one, each soul left. Leaving the soulless to rotten in their grave with no way out. With a lily in hand, the shadow made its way towards her grave. Letting it drop on top of the fresh pile of dirt, it squatted down peelings it’s hood off.

And there squatted down in front of Lily Rivers grave was the same eighteen-year old she had watch get buried a few minutes ago. “Such a shame.” she scoffed as a familiar agitating grating voice spoke behind her, patting her tombstone as she stood up. Ignoring the nails on chalkboard excuse of a voice, she titled her head up, letting the cold rain drops feel her face.

A hand stroked her wet hair, and one thing she was sure of was that it wasn’t in a fatherly. “You dyed your hair…pink.” It wasn’t a questions, but a statement. One he seemed to be delighted with. She side-eyed him, disgust written all over her face. “You said that my face would be blurred from the cameras since i’m dead.” she deadpanned.

He shrugged, “Did I?” Her eye twitched in irritation, seconds away from punching his throat and making him choke on his own fucking spit, but alas she’ll have to wait. “Do you really think death is enough to stop me?” she knew the answer to that question would determine the rest of her fate, and the fate of those around her.
