For the first time yesterday my twins annoyed the shit out of me. They were fighting, threw temper tantrums, did not want to nap, woke up pissy, dumped out all their toys, didn't want to eat and threw their food on the floor, and wanted to be by my side constantly for all of it.
As much as I wanted to yell, I didn't. I stayed as calm as I could, sighed a lot, and when they needed me I held them and watched TV and sang to them. I was sleep deprived and stressed and I didn't have any help since my wife is recovering from a broken foot.
I don't want my kids to grow up and think of me as someone who yelled at a two year old.
