Jay, Jane and Carlos polyamory relationship.

* Jay's massive arms are excellent for cuddling in

* Jane is awesome at cooking and baking and makes sure her boys are well-fed at all times, she can cook poop in an oven and make it delicious

* Carlos makes sure they're all on the same page about everything, because polyamory can get a bit disorganised 

* Only those close to them are entirely sure what the relationship is, mostly because the three of them agreed that trolling the entire student body is hilarious. (You can watch Jay kiss Carlos after a game, Carlos holding Jane on the lawn with study materials nearby, Jane pulling Jay towards her room, away from prying eyes. Are they cheating together? Everyone wonders. Ask them, and all you get is a vague eye-contact between whoever you ask, but no clear answer). Jane is a private person, she doesn't like a lot of people knowing her business, and Jay and Carlos just think it's funny.

* They pile up on a bed, Jay stretched across the mattress with his head on Jane's belly, her resting her head on Carlos' shoulder as the three play video games together.

* Turns out, Jane knows a lot about magical theory, because studying magic isn't banned in Auradon, just the physical practice itself, and she teaches both her boys some spells and histories, making sure they can handle whatever magical clusterf they get themselves into with Mal and Evie.

* They sit together in the back of movie theatres, only sometimes watching the screen, Jane trying to watch, Carlos trying to eat all the food, Jay trying to mess around because otherwise whats the point of sitting in the back of a movie theatre with your boy/girl friends?

* Look it'd just be super cute okay? It solves whatever shipping deals people have, they'd be super snarky and bring out each best selves.

uma hates being short. in moments of doubt, it makes her feel weak, like she can’t be the true pirate captain she wants to be.

but mostly, she just hates being teased for it.

it’s moments like these, when she stands underneath the main dock, stretching up for something on a high shelf, just a little too far out of her reach, that she absolutely hates being short. she goes up on her toes, jumps a few times, but still - nothing. the whole thing gets worse when suddenly she’s lifted up into the air, a girlish squeal slipping past her lips. luckily, she’s able to finally grab what she came for before reaching the ground once again, but still - she does not like to be carried.

“what was that for?” she snaps, turning to see gil standing behind her. he shrugs, a hint of fear in his eyes at her sudden change in demeanor.

“i was just trying to help you,” he says in all sincerity. uma sighs, going up on her toes to briefly kiss him on the cheek.

“thank you,” she says, softer this time. gil smiles.

a few days pass before another incident occurs, this time during a meeting of the pirate crew. uma stands before them, reviewing the plan that she wants to be followed.

“why is she standing on a table?” one member of the crew murmurs to his peer.

“'cause she likes to be tall,” his friends says back, before the two quietly snicker at the joke. harry stands right next to them, hearing every word, and he sighs. calmly, he swings his hooked hand around, only for it to meet with the first crew members nether regions, hitting him quite hard at that, causing him to groan and fall to his knees.

“oops?” harry says casually, holding his hand and hook up as though the whole thing was just an accident. the pirate on the floor only shakes his head, turning away from him and scooting over. harry glances back up and catches uma’s eye, and she only grins at him in a silent thank you. he just smiles back, a certain glint in his eye reserved just for her (and gil too, of course).
