Just watched descendants for the first time since I was 10.
My favorite part are the evil villain parents who are clearly in a polyamorous relationship
Because why are you all coparenting your 4 children together??
And living together???

happy pride month to whatever the descendants franchise had going on
This is the cutest fucking thing I have ever seen goodbye.
Why are they dressed like the onceler
Continuing my redesigns for Descendants, this is my take on Carlos de Vil! Here’s where I can see why the modern setting approach works better for a character like Carlos, whose mother isn’t close to the other villains’ time periods. Let’s just pretend that in this take, the school and world take place in a “out of time” sort of setting where it’s primarily a fantasy oriented place with the possibility of characters coming in from modern time periods. That, or the other characters are just suuuuper old fashioned. 🙃 For Carlos, I liked the idea of his wardrobe being old money hand downs passed over to him by Cruella - high fashion materials that are now tearing and falling apart. I kept him slightly shorter than the girls (even though it’s not super apparent without a height comparison) just because I liked that idea of him being the runt of the litter in his friend group.

I haven't seen anyone else talk about it but Cameron Boyce's grandmother, Jo Ann Allen Boyce had passed away a couple days ago due to pancreatic cancer. She was 84.
Aside from being Cameron's grandmother, she was known for being a member of the "Clinton 12"; twelve black students who integrated Clinton High School in Tennessee in 1956. They were the first black students to attend a public high school in the south after Brown v. Board of Education while facing violent threats, protests, and a school bombing two years later in 1958. Her family pulled her from the school and moved to Los Angeles, but even so, Jo Ann had wanted to stay at Clinton and stayed optimistic. She was even elected as vice-president in her homeroom class.
After graduating, Jo Ann became a pediatric nurse and spoke about her experiences at Clinton at other schools, and would go on to form a singing group with her sister and cousin. Jo Ann also wrote a book about her experiences at Clinton and released a few poems as well.
I just wanted to take the time to commemorate Jo Ann and her legacy. May she rest in peace, may she never be forgotten.

Having a fav celebrity that's dead is not for the weak cause the only thing that keeps me from not going insane is the fact that we both looked at the same moon and sun
Could you write a Malachi x reader where she’s Cameron’s sister and she was in descendants and when ever Cameron would sing in the song yn would sing that part and they do a tribute for him at the DZ tour and yn gets a little emotional
Like Always
—Summary: All you can think about is your brother, but your boyfriend makes it more special. Like he always does.
—Warning: Angst, mentions of death
—Song: i love you; Billie Ellish
-A/n:This is so sweet. I wish people would request things like these. Quick note. When I put "I'll be There" the song came on right then. I started crying my eyes out. You'll know when you see it.
I know I never met Cam, but sometimes I feel like he talks to his fans in certain ways. Anyways, please enjoy.
Everyday it hurts even more. Especially when it comes to this. You wish he was here. With you. he would do anything for you.
About 6 years ago, your older brother Cameron Boyce died from an epilepsy. Worse part is, he died in his sleep.
The last time you ever saw him was the night before. You never got to say goodbye. Yes, you said goodnight. Most likely seeing him the next.
You didn't.
You couldn't.
You never will again.
It hurts everyday. Especially throughout this summer. It hurts when he isn't here with you.
In 2015, you starred as Carlos De'vil younger sibling. Kenny saw the connection you have with Cameron. You meant so much to Cameron. He was your pride and joy.
Cameron was with you at every performance. He would always help you with your lines. Help you with a step that didn't make sense.
He was always there for you. He wasn't gonna let you down. He never has and never will.
But when you found out Cameron was gone, you didn't know what to do. You wanted to be there with him.
You wanted to be by his side. You promised him that you would be there.
Here you are. Suffering that your older brother is gone. The person that you looked up to so much. The brother you always dreamed of having.
Some of your friends say they can't stand their sibling. They're always annoying. They always bother you. And always let you now.
Not Cameron. That was never his part.
You were raised to care for your siblings. Even your younger sister Maya. You care for her so much.
She and your parents are the only thing you have now. Cameron still isn't here. You'll never see him again. You wish he was here.
With all the movies you've been doing. Sometimes you mess up. Audition for a movie part that you really want.
Sometimes you'll mess up on a part. When you did, Cam would always help you.
Now?
Depending on Maya. She is the sister you always wanted. She is always there for you.
She knows she'll never be like Cameron. But, she'll always be there for you.
You don't want her to be like Cameron. you're grateful that she is her own self. You wouldn't want her to be any other person.
You made a guest star appearance in Descendants 4:Rise of Red. China Anne McClain and Melanie Paxton made a appearance though. They only had a couple lines. You did too.
You had a really special part. A part that was related to your brother, Carlos in the movie. It was a hard scene.
You and China both got emotional. It was hard for both of you.
Considering the two of you were so close to Cameron. You and China are like best friends.
Both of you were so close to Cameron. You even consider China as your older sister.
You always will be by her side. And she'll be there for you. She was just a phone call away.
Couple months later, you were offered a part at a Descendants and Zombies collide tour. Concept is that they sing all the songs. The Descendants and Zombies 4 cast combines. Singing all songs from the movies.
You thought it was a great idea! Your career was just taking off. You could definitely do this.. In fact, you were excited about it.
That's when everything changed. The feelings you have. Not just towards life, but towards people. There was one person who changed everything.
Malachi Barton.
He starred in the new Zombies 4 movie. One of the lead roles. Meg and Milo passed the torch to him and his best friend, Freya Skye.
You've heard several things about Malachi. Granted, he was only two years older than you. But he's heard so much about you.
He's actually watched most of the movies you've been in. He thinks your so talented. Plus, very beautiful.
Your heart was so warmed when Malachi told that to you. Especially with the death of your older brother.
He hopes you and Maya are doing okay. Along with your parents Libby and Victor.
Yes, it has been about 6 years. But, your family will always miss him. And never forget him.
But, you saw something in Malachi. Understanding your life. The way he is patient with you. And he'll always be there for you.
Throughout the couple of weeks of tour, you and Malachi fell for each other. You guys would sing Rotten To The Core and Did I Mention to each other.
But, you and Cameron had your own song together. A song that you made with each other. About how you two would always be there for each other.
Malachi wanted to sing that song with you. Not just as your boyfriend, but as your best friend.
He knows he could never replace Cameron. But, he just wants you to know that Malachi will always be there for you. And he'll never let you down.
Through those moments, you saw Cameron in Malachi. He was speaking to you through Cameron. Cameron may be gone, but he will always be there for you.
He's like your guardian angel. He's watching over his sisters and his family.
This evening, Cameron wasn't gone. He was with you. Watching over you.
You could feel your heart race. Not just because you're with your boyfriend and all your friends.
But, you know Cameron is watching you. Singing with you through Malachi.
The night has been better than ever. You're always singing Cam's part to the song. Every verse you sang, all you could think about is Cameron.
But, at the same time, you were glad he isn't here. Not in a bad way. But, to impress him. To show Cameron that you got this. You weren't gonna let them down.
The end of the night came to an end. You guys just finished "Legends In the Making" and "Set It Off". The perfect songs to end the night.
However, Malachi spoke through his mic. Making one more announcement. Something for you. You just don;t have any idea to what it is.
"I just want to thank you, Las Vegas for being here with us. I just have one more thing. It's a gift to the most beautiful girl in the group."
Freya and Josh pulled you to the center of the stage. Freya and Josh telling you to go up there.
"Freya, why am I up here?" You asked the blonde.
"Just stay here. Malachi has something for you." Freya replied.
Joshua and Freya gave you thumbs up. Leaving you with Malachi. Malachi finishing his speech.
The gift that he is giving you. And only for you.
"I want to give a little something to my girlfriend, Y/n Boyce. She has meant so much to the Descendants family. And, this is for her. So let's just give her a round of applause." Malachi announced.
Next thing you knew, the crowd was clapping for you. Once it stopped, there was a voice. The voice you knew from anywhere.
Cameron.
Your older brother. The brother that you miss so much. The video was your audition tape. Singing "I'll Be There" by The Jackson 5.
You put your hand over your mouth. The tears and the pain coming down at once.
Your brother singing to you. He'll always be there for you. He'll never let you down.
The way his voice sounded was so pretty. Like an angels hymn. Something only Cameron do. And it was so beautiful. How he was 14 and you are 8.
It was so beautiful. You fell onto the stage. Burring your head onto the ground.
You felt Malachi wrap his arms to you. Whispering, "He misses you, Y/n. He's watching over you."
That songs means so much to you and Cameroon. He is still with you. He always has been and always will. He'll never let you go.
He's watching over you. He won't let you down. It's always gonna be you and Cameron.
Forever and Always.
