also in my head, since we're aware of fabio's body image/weight related issues, I feel like Àlex is such a healthy partner to have, he would be supportive and help him on his journey 😊

Álex would feed him Açai bowls and go on runs with him afterwards, just silently supporting him. He'd praise Fabio and kiss his body all over to show him he loves him no matter what. It's the kind of small attentions that almost bring fabio to tears. He doesn't feel like he has to perform for Álex to like him; he could be grumpy and snappy and Álex would still roll his eyes fondly at him.....

A quiet kind of acceptance.

Fabio Quartararo will leave Yamaha at the end of the 2026 season and join Honda for 2027. After several years with Yamaha, Quartararo will move on following a difficult period in which Yamaha failed to provide him with a competitive motorcycle.

Fabio Quartararo admitted that deciding to leave Yamaha was not easy. However, the decision had already been made in 2025, roughly a year before his departure. According to Quartararo, the decision was already made during a Test in Valencia last season.

As Quartararo said.

"In the Valencia test last year, I felt I needed something new. And we decided there to step away from Yamaha. I didn’t know yet to exactly which team I was going, but I knew I wanted to move from teams, and I think it was the correct moment."
