The drama surrounding TADC leak, and what Gooseworx is going through, is an example of why I'm just writing a fucking novel. If a novel has a fanbase, then that fanbase can be presumed to read and consider ideas in their heads. The fanbase for an animated series often consists of mostly younger audiences who haven't learned that the world does not revolve around them. The fanbase for a novel are people with an imagination, as that's required when reading a novel. I want fans with at least an 9th grade reading comprehension and the ability to ask questions about the media they're consuming.
I am a huge fan of The Amazing Digital Circus, as it is deep, mature, psychological, and well written. However, the issue is that Gooseworx made a colorful world with cartoon characters that appealed to children for a story that could be deconstructed to explain Jungian psychology, Gnosticism, the transgender experience, or the nature of Samsara. Of course, the choice is brilliant from a thematic perspective if you're looking at how the psyche is often constricted within an infantile state until an escape from negative cycles can be made. But a child is not going to get that, at all.
So on one end you have some 34 year old like me who has gone through so much psychological shit that they can recognize exactly what is going on in the series giving it endless praise. On the other end, you have some 13 year old iPad baby throwing a temper tantrum because "the funny rabbit man isn't doing what I want him to do". I'm sorry to burst your bubble, you little shit, but this series is inspired by the works of Harlan Ellison: it only cares about your feelings to the extent of wanting to fuck with you and make you cry.
I really hate the idea of Gooseworx quitting animation all together, but I really think she's made her statement with TADC and can walk away from that franchise. Truly, it's the worst fandom in the history of modern pop culture, and that's saying a lot.
Dream foreshadowing Skybound? I HOPE NOT
The Skybound situation is genuinely so sad that I had a dream the other night that the animated adaptation of Skybound that may or may not be in the works right now, (I have no faith in Hasbro to keep their word) was adding and straight up changing events/scenes to the first 24 issues (a.k.a the only good ones) to aligne more with KIRKman's vision
Like a flashback scene to someone saying (in the most on the nose voice you can imagine) "You're always such a great leader Elita! You should be in charge one day!" was a literal part of the dream subtle much?
And don't get me wrong, god yes I love Elita but I LOATHE what Kirkman did to her more than her having her have a prime-story arc (It could've been so interesting and good if it was done right)
(It's genuinely so bad for her right now, that I had different dream about the TFO sequel where she got less than 9 minutes of screen time and they made her mid in it 💔)
And it's not even just her he's mis-characterised! I can go on FOREVER about everything he's messed up about the series!- Anyway, my point in case is that, I hope whoever is behind the makings of the potential Animated show knows what they're doing and STICKS TO THE ACTUAL FIRST 24 COMICS AS MUCH AS THEY CAN or otherwise I'm gonna crash out.😮💨 Skybound deserves a good adaptation at the very least.

I feel like people are reading too much into what Rm and J-hope did. Yes, it’s not a good look on them. Yes, Chris Brown is a horrible person. I don’t like Chris Brown in the slightest way. What he did to Rihanna and the other girls was and is horrible. That being said I know some people are able to separate the music from the artist and that could be J-hope and Rm’s situation. And from the information I have gathered the most interaction that they had with Chris Brown was a photo and a small video of them saying how they liked his performance and music. Yes, I am an army but that doesn’t mean I am going to stop being an Army because of the music BTS likes but that’s just my opinion on who I follow and listen too.
That being said if they were to have collabed with him then that would be different and very wrong.
Ai vs Professions
In a world where AI's are continuously growing and developing, can they truly replace professions like artists and writers?
The obvious answer is no. However, even though that is the case, it still doesn't change the fact that many artists can and will lose their professions if Ai "artworks" continue to be advertised and developed.
But—as cliche as it may sound—the works of Ai are incomparable to the works of humans. Ai work does not have a heart, it does not have the roughness of an art from the erased mark of a pencil nor will it ever have the precision of a writer to write an unperfected story, these things are what creates a true masterpiece.
It will just be full of perfection where it becomes dull, no hard work, no history, no struggle, no feelings.
It will all just be a perfect piece from a machine that was designed to create an imperfect masterpiece.
