I wish lived under this brand of rock. Let me grab the copy and paste explanation I haven't had to break out for a few weeks:
Evidentially, the two of them (Avid and Marm) had been spreading false rumors, manipulating, lying, and doing other things to turn people in the space against each other. They seemed to have had intent to take POW down and seemed to be trying to isolate SBK from the rest of the MCYT space, and to accuse large creators (Namely Scott/Smajor and Owengejuice) in particular of horrible things to turn people against them and seem like victims to garner support away from them and towards Avid and Marm. The two of them wrote a multi page document about how they were going to destroy Scott's career by falsely accusing him of sexual harassment, which was proven false due to Scott having a boatload of evidence that not only was Avid the one making advances on him (including sending him a literal card that called him daddy), but that he repeatedly asked Avid if it was okay that they continued to flirt in character and Avid repeatedly said yes. During Twitchcon Rotterdam, a number of creators sat down and untangled the lies they had been told and realized what Avid had been doing, as well as seemingly sharing screenshots from conversations they had with Avid with each other. This was exposed by a large amount of the SBK players as well as people who were associated with him through POW and with Marm through Hobbit Hills.
Avid and Marm both publicly quit content creation only an hour or so before all of this came to light, meaning someone likely told them that the statements were going to drop. In their signing off message they claimed to be doing it for the safety of their family/children, though other creators close to them have made it clear that Avid almost never sees his kids (to be clear, he has children with an ex, not with Marm as far as I know). This appears to have been one last moment of emotional manipulation in an attempt to get people to think all of this was one big threat/conspiracy against them before anything even dropped. It didn't work due to the overwhelming evidence that both of them were deeply manipulative and liars.
Now, Avid has reopened their Discord after changing their user name to make their account appear to be deleted (it doesn't follow the actual deleted account format), started posting unfinished projects on their Patreon, and their one remaining mod has apparently stated that Avid plans to keep their Discord open, which means they might plan on making more things in the future. Avid has also changed their name on Spotify to Great Divide and their name on YouTube as well as their merch store to DeltaLoreGames, meaning that they are likely planning some sort of comeback under the new branding.
