Since I didn't do #wellnesswednesday or #throwbackthursday this week because I just really wasn't feeling doing anything this week, I think because I know Winter is coming soon and weather is getting just blah I've been in a funky mood all week, but it's Friday, the sunshine is back ππΌ and I am feeling fantastic. So let's do a #flashbackfriday from my first 5k to today in my new favorite shirt (which had sold out but an amazing friend found for me π) Let's compare sizes shall we, 2 years ago my shirts and pants were both XL, jeans were a 12/13 depending on the brand π Today my pants are Small (I have some Mediums that fit ok still), my shirts are anywhere from a Medium to an XS (Yes, my orange shirt is an XSpicy from Zumba, I seem to remember a point in time where I swore up and down I would never be a small π€, guess things change) depending on the cut and material of the shirt, and my jeans are 4/6 depending on the brand. I'm almost the same size now that I was my freshman year of high school, but with some added muscle. I highly doubt I'll ever be the same weight I was at the start of my freshman year just because I had no muscle and I think weighed 102? Yeah, that's not happening, I don't have a specific number I want to weigh because I feel that just makes it too much of an obsession and could easily lead to a not so healthy relationship with eating and exercise. At least for me, some people can have a goal weight and achieve and maintain that goal in a healthy way without being discouraged, I'll be completely honest, I am not one of those people. No extreme diet plans or exercise schedule, I do what I enjoy and remain conscious of what I eat and drink. Exercise wise I do a lot of Zumba, but that's only because that's what I enjoy, do a little strength training during the week, and I run. Finding exercise you love will make staying with a workout schedule so much easier. #fitfam #fitnessfriday #fattofit #fitnessjourney #obesetobeast #progressnotperfection #strongnotskinny #fitspo #healthspo #running #5k #trainingfor10k #fitnessmotivation #throwback #transformation #comparisonpic #zumba #zumbawear #zumbainstructor #progresspic #colorvibe5k #motivation
