so, to clarify about my last reblog: i'm going to be working at the otakon 2026 host club friday, july 31st and saturday, august 1st, from 8pm to 1am. i even put up a page about it on my website. yay me! to keep host club-related stuff from flooding your timeline as the con approaches, i'll be putting most of it on my after-dark blog, @slime-blossom, under the tag #hostposting. my menu will also be there. i might cross-post some things, idk. if you want to see my face ahead of the con, DM me, here or on discord or bluesky or really anywhere; i'm a little paranoid and try to avoid posting it on public-facing sites for...reasons, but i have no problem with being perceived, generally speaking. that's why i took this gig.
by the way, the host club is doing a "social media takeover" today where all the scattered otakon social media accounts post about it in unison. i guess this fits into that. i'd been meaning to announce this for a while, and today was the perfect day.
We would like to, if we may, to take you on a strange journey late night during Otakon this year! It's an Awesomely Bad double feature show! You get your annual main show and the long awaited return of the 18+ After Dark edition, back to back! It's sure to make for a wild time as always! Please note, there will be a room clear in-between both shows, so be sure and have your 18+ wristband well beforehand if you are old enough to attend! This is a bit different than how things have been in the past at Otakon, but we're gonna make it a great time for all as always!
